“Rāmkalni Nordeco” is a Latvian company located in one of the most picturesque spots in Latvia. The Rāmkalni brand offers authentic, healthy snacks to Latvia and to the world. Snacks that both children and adults love — all natural ingredients grown under the warm, life-giving rays of the sun.

We love the Latvian fields, gardens and farm produce, and this love is what inspired us to make all of our products.

We develop and produce all of our products ourselves — candied fruits and berries, also coated with chocolate, and natural syrups and lemonades.

Clean air, sun-drenched meadows,serene lakes, well-tended fields, and many beautiful forests! 

We are lucky to live in a place where we can enjoy all four seasons — anything from -30° to +30°C is not unusual! We are treated to colorful autumns before the white winter comes, and when we hear the birds begin to sing in the springtime we know that summer is not far off.

We are lucky to have everything we need, right here.  

We come from a small, but determined and hard-working country on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Northern Europe. And we have good neighbors — the Estonians to the north, the Lithuanians to the south, and the Russians and Belarusians to the east.

Our people have been living along the Amber Coast for thousands of years, but this year we are proud to celebrate Latvia’s State Centenary — 100 years as an independent nation!

Not just a country of nature lovers; we also like progress and development. We enjoy the active, sporting life and are very proud of our athletes and sports teams.

Green and clean—more than half of the territory of Latvia is covered by forests, we are one of the greenest and most envi-ronmentally friendly countries in the world.

Latvia has one of the fastest mobile Internet networks in the world and our capital Riga has been called the European WIFI capital.

In the last Olympic games Latvia was among the top three countries in terms of medals per number of inhabitants.

And technology? We have AirDog—the world’s first automatic pilot-less drone that will follow you wherever you go!

RĀMKALNI — A SHORT HISTORY

2000 - The starting point. Then and now we pour our love and energy into tending the Rāmkalni nature park for leisure and entertainment. This is where we began our story.

2009 - We begin production. Living close to nature, we understood that we wanted to and could do more — we could make natural treats from real ingredients. Back then we were innovative trailblazers in terms of our production methods.

Candied berries and fruits - Everyone loves to treat themselves with something delicious, yet healthy. So we decided that the best way to sell our berries was to candy them.

Candied berries and fruits covered in chocolate - Soon we saw that adults were also adding our candied berries to their shopping lists. So we created candied fruit covered in chocolate. This was a magical union — the harmony of flavors was surprisingly delicious!

Syrups and Natural lemonade - And then came those hot summer days and the need for a refreshing natural thirst quencher. We responded by developing another new product—natural syrups and lemonades.

2009

Rāmkalni begins planting, so that we can grow our own produce. In 2013 we became farmers as well as producers, because the best way to be sure that our produce is of the best quality is to grow it ourselves! We couldn’t be happier, and are determined to continue down this road.

Rāmkalni unveils its new production line. In 2015 we were thrilled to be able to increase production when we moved to our new factory. The EU development program helped us achieve this big goal. Now we can export our natural products around the world and still have plenty for our home market in Latvia!

Rāmkalni is BRC certified. Rāmkalni proudly announces that

our brand is now BRC certificated. The BRC Food Safety Standard is a leading global safety standard and quality certification program. Our products also fulfill the requirements for other significant standard certificates.

But we’re not resting on our laurels and will continue to grow and develop so that we can surprise our clients with new innovativeproducts.

To retain all the goodness our fruits and berries have been blessed with by Mother Nature, we have developed sensitive processing technology that helps us keep all of the juiciness, natural color, and flavor of the prod-uct. There is no better way to treat yourself — with the perfect snack that is as good for you as it is delicious!

Our product are so wholesome, there is no need for artificial flavor enhancers, preservatives, or colorants. The only thing we add is sugar. There can be no doubt — we will continue to develop and grow and surprise our clients with more delicious and healthy products!

THE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Step 1As they grow, our fruits and berries

soak up the sun’s rays, drink deeply of the vitamins and minerals in the

earth. We at Rāmkalni are happy to be able to gather this natural bounty

and pass this richness on to you.

Step 2The process for all our products is very simple but considerate. We add only

sugar — our snacks are so wholesome there is no need for artificial flavor

enhancers, preservatives, or colorants. Our packages are user-friendly, so you

can take them with you anywhere.

Step 3When the product is packaged and ready, it begins the journey to the stores. Rāmkalni products

are available through large chain groceries and in small

boutiques, in Latvia and around the world.
