was a decade of exceptional
economic prosperity. This is why
we call the 1920’s “Roaring
Twenties”.
The 20’s had a distinct culture in
major cities such as Berlin, Los
Angeles, and New York.
Women’s rights emerged and the
19th amendment of the U.S.
Constitution gave women the right
to vote.

The 1920’s was decade of social and
political unrest. In addition to the Women’s
Rights movement, Prohibition was in full
swing.
Henry Ford was a famous industrialist. He
began the assembly line trend that
revolutionized the production of automobiles,
