Greetings from Ann & NatAs always, we look forward to welcoming back campers and staff into that vital workshop that is camp in general and ROBINDEL specifically. With each new summer we are thrilled to observe all of you as you hone old skills and develop new ones. In the magical laboratory of Camp ROBINDEL we see profound expansion of your sense of community, independence, self-confidence and ability to create lifelong friendships.

Our recruiting season has been excellent visiting with many new and pro-spective families. Our return of campers has been exceptional and we welcome back over 65 returning staff members along with 10 new ex-camper-counselors.

We look forward to seeing all campers and staff in June and to an exciting 2017 season.

HISTORYMost of you likely know the history of Camp Robindel. Those who have worked for us have had the pleasure of hearing the history from Nat at the staff opening campfire. Each summer the story is slightly different, filled with fond memories of his days as a camper and counselor, and ultimately a camp director. We hear about the special timing of Ann and Nat meeting each other just as he found Camp Robindel, and the people who came before them. The founders of Robindel (1951) were The Feldmans (Paddy & Adele) and Robinsons (Eli and Fanny). The name Robindel comes from Robinson & Adele. This summer, Paddy’s great-granddaughter Emma will be a first time camper at Robindel. It is so rewarding to see generations of families continue to have the Robindel experience, and this is an especially neat one. Emma is pictured here with her little sister Lily and their Grandma Bette, Paddy & Adele’s daughter.

husband Justin welcomed Zachary Leo on

February 19, 2017.

Liza Karotkin (Juniper 2003) got engaged to Taylor Flagg on February 27, 2017. The two met in middle school and were best friends for many years. They went to senior prom together! They started dating a few years after graduating from college. After he proposed, they met both of their families at a nearby restaurant to celebrate.
