As solid as stone and therefore impervi-ous to the effects of the weather. It is also as worka-ble as wood. The panels are easy to fit, hardly require any maintenance and retain their original freshness, which means substantial cost savings.
Our range
Different colours and different designs. Each prod-uct has its own beautiful characteristics. Ideal for facades, roof-edge applications or for special details like ceiling, entrances or infilling. Classic or bold, restrained or playful, charming and idiosyncratic. With ROCKPANEL board material you will give every house or industrial building a unique look.
BRE Global A+ / A rated1
ROCKPANEL Group had the environmental perfor-mance of its products assessed by the authoritative BRE Global, part of the Building Research Establish-ment (BRE), a British research and certification centre respected worldwide for its independent expertise.
On the basis of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), BRE Global granted ROCKPANEL Group an Environmen-tal Product Declaration (EPD) that showed that ROCKPANEL products are acknowledged as amongst the best performing in their category with A+ and A ratings for various structures.
A recognition which provides an assurance that opting in favour of low maintenance ROCKPANEL facade cladding in a sustainable construction pro-ject is a responsible choice.

About ROCKPANEL Group
The ROCKWOOL Group has evolved over the years from offering stone wool based products and solutions to developing products, systems and services within the building envelope that protect buildings from their environment and protect the environment from the impact of buildings. An evolution now expressed by “CREATE AND PROTECT”. For every imaginable building type or building part, the ROCKWOOL Group offers a broad range of solutions. What ROCKPANEL Group offers for the facade, ROCKWOOL and ROCKFON offer for the acoustic and thermal insulation of buildings: delivering a unique combination of design freedom, durability, fire resistance and cost efficiency. The sustainable board material ROCKPANEL is - like all ROCKWOOL products - produced from the natural source basalt. This is the volcanic rock from which all ROCKWOOL products derive their unique properties. With ROCKPANEL board material you can deliver cutting edge modern architectural approaches, such as layering and organic shapes, whilst always remain-ing focused on cost issues and installation times. ROCKPANEL boards combine the advantages of stone and wood in a single product. The products have been used in different countries for many years to finish fa-cades, roof features and building details. As rainscreen cladding in ventilated constructions, the boards provide a cost efficient and stylish finish for any building, whether a refurbishment or new build project.

For a colourfast decorative statement on the outside wall, Rockclad is the perfect choice. The colours are divided into the following groups: grey/lead, yellow/sand, red/terra, green/sea, and blue/sky. These colour groups of-fer the possibility of creating a harmonious combined effect or a daring contrast on the wall. The ROCKPANEL Rockclad Bright range offers 4 bold colours which allow a building to make a unique statement.
ROCKPANEL Rockclad comes as standard in 100 colours, 20 of which are available direct from stock. Also all other RAL/NCS colours are available with a minimum 100 m² order for each colour. The ROCKPANEL Rockclad Bright range consists of 4 distinctive colours and comes in measurements 8 mm x 1200 mm x 3050 mm, directly available from stock.

Typical natural colour after fixing
Indicative natural colour after ± 6 weeks
The purest version of our board material is ROCKPANEL Natural. With natural weathering from sunlight and the elements, the appearance of this hard-wearing, unpainted board material changes. Let nature do her work in the design of your building.
The ageing effect is influenced by the elements of nature and differs due to artificial conditions even at micro level. Therefore the exact ageing and uniformity of the effect can not be predicted.
For a perfect final result with ROCKPANEL Natural it is important to work carefully during application and in detailling. For more information check the product datasheet Natural on www.rockpanel.com.

Lines² is an excellent solution for renova-tion projects. The new width can be used to add fresh accentuating features, to carry out renovation work quickly and efficiently, and to modernise a building in a lasting and cost-effective way.
Innovation in renovation!
32
To make the fitting of tongue-and-groove panelling more simple and to improve post installation maintenance, ROCKPANEL Group has developed an innovative clip. The clip ensures that the supporting structure is ventilated even more effectively, reducing moisture retention, and thus increasing the structure’s durability. The mounting clip is mandatory for a correct installation of ROCKPANEL Lines² 8.

ROCKWOOL Group: CREATE AND PROTECT
42
The best building envelopes are designed to maintain a healthy
indoor climate, while protecting the building and its occupants
from undesirable influences. They also protect the environ-
ment from harmful emissions and other negative effects of
buildings.
The ROCKWOOL Group helps creating the best building envelopes
possible – for buildings that behave responsibly for generations.
ROCKWOOL insulation solutions, ROCKFON acoustic ceilings and
ROCKPANEL facade cladding offer solutions for the building
envelope that protect buildings from their environment and
protect the environment from the impact of buildings.
As a building design is transformed from a sketch into a physi-
cal structure, it begins to take on its own life – accommodating
the people who use it and occupying space in the landscape.
Buildings can be thought of as behaving in the world. They pro-
tect their occupants from the elements. They consume energy.
They create indoor climates. And they interact with their
surroundings and the environment.
Much of a structure’s behaviour depends on the nature of its
building envelope, or the “skin” that separates inside from out
and determines where and how air, water, light and other
elements are allowed to enter and escape.
43
The ROCKWOOL GroupThe ROCKWOOL Group markets solutions world-wide that give those operating in the construction sector the opportunity to create buildings that provide comfortable living and working conditions, while at the same time being aesthetically pleasing and fitting in with their surroundings. The company has evolved over the years from offering stone wool based products and solutions to developing sys-tems that protect buildings from their environment and protect the environment from the impact of buildings.
44
ROCKWOOLROCKWOOL creates and delivers thermal, acoustic
and fire insulation products made from the volcanic
rock basalt, suitable for a wide range of applications
in virtually all construction environments, even highly
specialised areas. ROCKWOOL products provide en-
ergy-efficient, fire-resistant solutions and ensure op-
timum sound insulation and climate control in all cir-
cumstances. It is the ROCKWOOL insulation solution
for achieving a durable, fireproof and cost-efficient
building envelope.

ROCKFONThe ROCKFON Group is a leading European manufac-
turer of acoustic ceiling solutions. The companies
manufacture and market a wide range of stone-wool-
based products, which contribute positively to a good
indoor environment and fulfil the strictest demands to
acoustic properties, aesthetics, fire protection, and hy-
gienic performance. ROCKFON products are preferred
solutions for offices, hospitals, schools, buildings for
sports and leisure, retail outlets, and industry.

For every imaginable building type or building part, the ROCKWOOL Group offers a broad range of solutions.
