Askari %ank is one of the leading banks of *akistan incorporated in ++. It has made significant

contributions in building and strengthening both corporate and retail banking sector in *akistan. This

report is an upshot of my si" weeks internship in Askari %ank 'td. of *akistan.

Askari %ank of *akistan possesses an imperative importance in the banking sector of *akistan. It has

become the center of hustles in business activities. It always endows with great covenant of rally

round in terms of funds and services at all epochs of its dynamism. The main purpose of internship is

to learn, by working in practical environment and to apply the knowledge ac-uired, during the studies,

in a real world scenario in order to tackle the problems. In this report the detailed analysis of the

organi&ation has been done.

There are also some positive as well as some negative aspects that I came e"perienced by. I gained

confidence, learned the functions of the banking sectors, interactions and dealings with the valued

customers. The negative aspect involved individualism and work load. I also used certain skills of my

own self which included communication, listening, technical, managerial and interpersonal skills. The

new skills I came by and learned were analytical skills and tactics to deal with every type of

customers.

There are also some challenges that I faced which included working environment and conditions,

e"perience gap and difficulty in understanding technicalities of different departments. !owever the

finali&ing of the internship did help out a lot in improving these gaps and reducing them to a critical

level. The internship I did would be helpful to the students as well as professionals. I can provide the

guidelines and suggestions to them. This time period spend would influence my future career plans as

it provided me with the opportunity of practical e"posure. I am now e to identify the feasibility of

myself.
