DAY 1: Flight departure with Austrian Airlines from Frankfurt Airport at 10:50 am via Vienna to Sibiu, Romania. At 3:20 pm we will arrive at the airport of Sibiu and will be welcomed by our local English speaking guide. Afterwards we drive to Sighisoara and check in to our lovely downtown 4-star hotel. After time to freshen up, stroll along the streets of this beautiful illuminated UNESCO town. Have dinner in the hotel or at one of the cozy restaurants near our hotel (extra). Your guide will make suggestions. DAY 2: After breakfast we start with a sightseeing tour of the medieval town of Sighisoara highlighting the Clock Tower from the 14thcentury (which offers a great view over the citadel), The Church on the Hill and finally the birthplace of Vlad Tepes or Vlad the Impaler, known as Dracula. We then try different kinds of local Brandy’s before we drive to Biertan to visit the Church Castle Biertan followed by a wine tasting and a horse carriage ride through the village. Evening return to Sighisoara with a dinner in our hotel.DAY 3: After breakfast we travel to Bran to visit the castle also known as Bam Stoker’s imaginary Castle of the Transylvanian Count Dracula. In the afternoon we drive to Brasov, one of the best preserved medieval cities of Europe. During our sightseeing tour we pay a visit to the gothic Black Church dating back to the 14th century and a landmark of the town. Late afternoon return to the hotel. Time to get ready for our Halloween dinner in the restaurant “Vlad Dracul” in Dracula’s birthhouse. Count Dracula is invited to meet you!DAY 4: After breakfast and check out, we depart for Sibiu. After arrival we start with a sightseeing

tour of the fortified town of Sibiu. The European Capital of Culture in 2007 has a lot to offer and has always been the center of a German minority since the middle ages.Flight back with Austrian Airlines via Vienna to Frankfurt. Evening arrival (appr. 6:40 pm).

CANCELLATION FEES: Up to 61 days prior to departure, € 100 per person; 60 - 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price will be charged; From 29 - 15 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 65% of the tour price will be charged. From 14 - 7 days prior to departure until the day of departure, 85% of the tour price will be charged.
