tissue
Tips on using the device
Push down on blades with fingers of the other hand to get past dermis and into fat
Sometimes make a small opening to fat can be helpful
Push closed blades along to open the incision
Advantages of RST
Decreased transection Decreased bleeding Produces some undermining Relatively low cost
Disadvantages
Less efficient when dealing with scar tissue
Deeper initial incision may need to be made as compared to Haber spreader
