Ross International is a global producer of precision glass moulds and quality metal castings. Ross

sells glass container mould equipment directly to glass producers throughout the world, primarily

in the beverage and food markets. Our quality metal castings serve the glass and commercial

automotive, electrical, agricultural, and energy industries, among others.

Ross Mould was founded in 1983 by Laurence F. Ross in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,

U.S.A. as a small mould shop that pioneered the use of computer-controlled machines (CNC) to

efficiently manufacture moulds for use in the production of glass containers.

Today, Ross International produces mould equipment in the United States, Colombia, South

Africa, and Hungary – the only mould maker in the world operating on four continents.

We are vertically integrated, with castings supplied to the mould shops by our foundries in

Colombia and France, allowing us complete control of quality and the supply chain.

Our commercial foundry in Colombia produces gray and nodular iron, and supplies castings to

several major automotive and other industrial parts manufacturers in the Americas.

Still family-owned, Ross is the 2nd largest manufacturer of glass container mould equipment

Ross Sand CastingRoss Sand Casting has operated Andes Cast Metals Foundry in Sabaneta, Colombia since its founding in 2001. The foundry is dedicated to the production of gray and nodular iron in small and medium-sized batches of pieces from ½ lb. up to 30 lbs.

The plant was designed and built with the latest technology to ensure the highest standards of quality, industrial safety, and environmental conservation.

The flexible design of the plant also allows us to serve medium and small volume markets in different industry sectors.

Our service offerings include assisting with the design of new products from the prototype stage to final production.

We have been certified compliant with ISO standards since 2003 – in 2018, we were recertified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Industry-leading manufacturers, such as GM, Ford, Chrysler, Mercedes, Cummins, Caterpillar, and John Deere depend on our quality iron castings to meet their stringent requirements.
