It is a small place in the region of the Bushava Mountain on the height of 1300 meters above the sea level. It has only 5000

inhabitants. The town is like a museum, tourist resort and a ski center during the winter.

It is famous for its archaic architecture. The "Krusevo house" as a style is a part of all architectural books. It`s streets are like

a labyrinth and the water springs are like a kind of signs that you have to follow so you won`t be lost in the labyrinth. The

woodland around the place is keeping the memories about the Ilinden uprising and the first republic in the Balkan.

The so called "jambolija" a kind of blanket specific for this region will warm your soul while the cold water from the

mountain springs will make you feel great after the specialties from the Krusevo cuisine.

Hidden up in the mountains between the woods, Kruševo has managed to preserve a genuine appeal. The town has the

same layout as a century ago and around 80 traditional houses are preserved, so it is a good place to admire and learn

about traditional architecture. Unfortunately, being so small and isolated the town has had problems coping with the

transition. The town is a winter skiing center with paths good for beginners.

Kruševo architecture – As the city was started from scratch, the Vlachs were willing to invest and the Mijaks were excellent

builders, in Kruševo a very interesting architecture has developed. The houses are freestanding, mostly symmetrical,

without open spaces typical for other towns in Macedonia. The back of the houses are built of stone, while the front of

socalled “bondruk” construction of wooden columns and beams covered with white plaster. There is almost always a well

in the ground floor. On the main facade usually there are painted decorations in blue colour. Blue is also usually used for

the window frames and other details of the facades. On the upper floor there usually is a small balcony with a triangular

pediment above it to put accent on the symmetry of the house.

From January 9, 2009, Ski resort Kozuf offers a new service - lodging in 100 beds.

There will be offered 16 apartments, that are located at the entrance of the ski village in Ski Kozuf.

The apartments are 30m2 each. They include kitchen with mini bar, bathroom, and 4 beds.

All apartments have floor heating.

It is located on the

mountain Baba, within the

Pelister national park. This

mountain possesses some

extraordinary features

which have been a basic

factor in the development

of tourism in the region.

The mountain has got 25

peaks with height above

2,000 m. The

highest peak -

Pelister is

2,601 meter

high.

Especially significant are the

hydrological characteristics:

numerous springs, mountain rivers

and the two mountain lakes -

Golemo (Big) and Malo (Small),

known as "Pelisterski Oči"/Eyes.

However, the most distinctive

feature is the presence of the Molika tree - an endemic species

of tree which exists only in this place and is specific for its aesthetic effect on the landscape. The variable climatic conditions

are dependent on height. The higher areas have a continental climate, while above 1,800 m the climate is mountain. Above

2,400 m the mountain climate gains Alpine characteristics. The average air temperature is 1,30C to 2,3

0C. Because of such a

climate, during the entire winter, until April, the slopes of the mountain Baba are covered with deep snow. All this creates

ideal conditions for the

development of winter

tourism.

The ski slopes are 2,000 m

long. A two-seater cable car

(chairlift) proceeds 680 m to

the ski slopes. The centre

possesses 4 ski-lifts.

The location ―Pelisterski Oci‖ is 4 hours hiking away (8km).

Village House Dihovo is located in the center of v. Dihovo (urbanized, with complete infrastructure). Asphalt road leads to the

house. The house has been built in

typical rustic style, stone and wood, and

has own yard of 800m2.

The service includes domestic food,

traditional meals, as well as production

of domestic brandy and wine in wooden barrels.

The rooms are organized in traditional rustic style, each of them

The living room with a kitchen is made in stone, and

the sitting is organized around a fireplace in rural

ambiance.

Ski resort Kopaonik is one of the greatest ski resorts in the southeast part of Europe. It is 230 km far from

Belgrade, in the central part of our country. The “Sunny Mountain”, one of the most beautiful mountains in

Serbia, is characterized by extremely favourable climate with more than 200 sunny days per year. Snow covering

at the Kopaonik lasts in average between 180 and 230 days per year, and the first precipitation starts already in

November.

Extremely favourable climate conditions and geographic location represent a great potential for development of

both summer and winter tourism. This well-known tourist resort gives possibilities to visitors to prove their

skiing skills at the first-class prepared ski runs. Ski resort Kopaonik comprises of 44 km of arranged runs for

alpine skiing and 18 km for Nordic disciplines. The ski run “Malo jezero” is prepared for night skiing. In order

weather conditions not to spoil enjoyment of Kopaonik visitors, ski resort is equipped with system for artificial

snowing that gives the opportunity of covering part of the runs with artificial snow. All the runs are connected

by a system of chairlifts and ski lifts; total capacity is 28,600 skiers per hour. This system comprises of three new

detachable high-speed four-seated chairlifts (total capacity 5,400 skiers per hour), two fixed four-seated with

magic carpets for loading skiers (total capacity 4,200 skiers per hour), five two-seaters of the capacity 5,880 skiers

per hour, four T-bar towing surface lifts (capacity 4,800 skiers per hour) and nine towing surface lifts – plates

(capacity 7,300 skiers per hour). In addition to the runs for alpine and Nordic disciplines, ski resort Kopaonik has

also a skating rink and a snowboard park where many local and international competitions are organized.

In the centre of this mountain, i.e. in the centre of Konaci, Villa Bojana is situated and being

fully equipped it can certainly stand side by side with many of the most famous world`s

Five-bedded suits includes a separate bedroom with three beds in it, a

separate living room,dinning room,kitchen,bathroom and of course a hallway

place for ski equipment.

TEN-BEDDED SUIT

This large and cousy suit ( 170 m2) is esp. suitable for larger

families. It includes three separate bedrooms with twin beds; two

bathrooms fully equipped; a dinning room; a completely equipped

kitchen with all necessary gadgets and technical devices such as

digital TV, a personal stereo, hairdryers, irons, mixers, dishwashing machine, sets of cutlery, etc. Moreover this suit has got a

―winter garden‖ with a fire-place in it, mini bar, sauna, two separate entrances one leading directy from a ski-track, then a

hallway where you can place all your ski equipment.

Zlatibor, the most accustomed tourist resort in

Serbia, is located in the South-West part of the

country, 220 km far from Belgrade. Average

altitude of this mountain highland is 1,000 m,

surrounded by peaks Tornik (1,496 m), Cigota

(1,422 m) and many others.

Due to a moderate continental climate and

Mediterranean air streams, Zlatibor is declared an

air health resort. Zlatibor has developed into a

famous ski resort with the longest tradition in

Serbia due to its vast glades, golden pines even

under snow, clean air, great number of sunny

days in the year and beautiful ski runs. Ski resort

―Tornik‖ is located at altitude between 1,110 m

and 1,490 m, 9 km far away from the tourist centre

of the resort.

Four ski runs (Cigota, Tornik, Ribnica and

Zmajevac) are reconstructed and widened. The

most contemporary newly built six-seated chairlift

and ski lifts make Tornik a ski resort of exceptional

quality, admired by skiers of different categories.

Capacity of the six-seated is 3,000 skiers per

hour, with the speed of five meters per second,

with 99 seats and length of 1,650 meters. It starts

from 1,111 meters above sea level and climbs

almost to the top of the peak Tornik – to 1,485

meters. T-bar ski lifts have capacity of 1,200

skiers per hour, so that this resort is capable of

transporting 5,400 skiers per hour.

The Villa Simovic is a modern object with apartments, built in

The Croatian capitol Zagreb has skiing terrains only a twenty minutes away from the city center.

The existing ski slopes and ski lifts are situated on the northern slopes of Medvednica, beginning at the Sljeme peak

and using the varied configuration of the terrain, thus providing slopes of different levels of difficulties. The total

slope length is about 4 500 meters, with 2 ski lifts (the White and the Green Slope), as well as a three-seat ski lift on

the Red Slope with a total capacity of 3300 skiers per hour. The Red Slope is equipped with a snowmaking and

night illumination systems.

Every skiing season there are a number of skiing competitions held on the ski slopes of Sljeme, among which the

most famous and the most prestigious is the FIS World Ski Cup competition.

Kolasin was established by the Turks in the 17

th century. In the close vicinity of the town

there is the always restless Tara river, as well

as the Moraca river, and the town is

surrounded by mountains, with Sinjajevina,

Bjelasica, Kljuc and Vucje protecting this town

from all sides. Kolasin is situated at the

altitude of 954 m and offers excellent vacation

in winter, as well as in summer time. Due to its

altitude and favourable climate, Kolasin is

considered an air spa. A special attraction for

the tourists is the Biogradsko lake, situated in

the National park "Biogradska Gora", which

Bansko is Bulgaria's # 1 ski resort,

"The Arlberg" is the name given to five

picturesque towns in western Austria and

the roughly 85 lifts and scores of runs that

link them. St. Anton, one of the most

famous resorts in the world, is the biggest

of the bunch.

Lying deep in a valley along the main east-

west rail and highway route across Austria,

it now has a pleasant pedestrian center,

with lifts rising directly from the outskirts

and chalets perched on steep slopes. St.

Anton is popular with young, energetic,

and aggressive skiers and snowboarders.

The Valluga, a spiky summit, boasts the

Arlberg's most challenging terrain—and,

some would say, its most aggressive

nightlife too.

High above St. Anton is St. Christoph, a tiny,

tranquil hamlet built around a hotel called The

Hospiz, which was originally run by monks for

wayfarers. Arlberg. This small and relatively

isolated resort offers doorstep skiing on both

sides of the high valley—with the Valluga-

Galzig area on one side and the Albona on the

other.

Stuben is a small village in a side valley

below St. Christoph. It has a more

authentic atmosphere and lower lodging

prices than elsewhere in the Arlberg, but it

is definitely out of the mainstream. In

addition to marked runs, the St. Anton–St.

Christoph-Stuben section offers virtually

limitless off-piste (translation: unmarked

and ungroomed) runs.

Lech and Zürs are connected with the

other resorts, but they also seem a world

apart. They are achingly beautiful, with

classic chalets nestled high in the Arlberg.

Zürs sits astride the Flexen-Pass, while

Lech lies at the end of the road in a side

valley below. Both communities are

known for five-star hotels that combine

Alpine style. The mountains closest to

these villages, the Madloch, the Trittkopf,

and the Kriegerhorn offer slopes for all
