Royal Mahogany Entry Door SystemsRoyal Mahogany also offers matching mahogany and American red oak frame components making the entry system complete. The richness of a entry way withcommon hardwood throughout, welcomes guests into the home with warmth and elegance. Both mahogany and American red oak are available unfinished orprefinished. Other standard entry system features include: adjustable sill, compression weather-stripping, continuous head & sill, and ball bearing hinges. Hingesare available in either brass or antique nickel and sills are offered in a brass or bronze finish to compliment glass caming selection.

STRONGER JOINTS

The mortise and tenon joints between stiles and rails arestronger than dowel joints because the gluing surface ismore than doubled.

ENGINEERED STILES AND RAILS

The engineered stiles and rails are stronger than single,solid wood pieces, reducing the possibility of the doorwarping or splitting.

FLOATING PANELS

Panels are free to “float” between fixed ends whichreduces the possibility of the panels splitting due tonatural wood contractions.

TRIPLE PANE GLASS

Triple-pane insulated glass is more efficient, allows foreasier cleaning, and protects the caming from tarnishing.

Door: All Royal Mahogany Products have a 1-year limited warranty so long as they are finished and installed in accordance with our written instructions. In theunlikely event of defects, Royal Mahogany Products must be notified within 30 days of occurrence.

Glass: All glass pieces are guaranteed not to leak or tarnish for 10 years from the date of purchase. Royal Mahogany Products must be notified of any defectswithin 30 days of occurrence.

A factory applied finish is available on all oak and mahogany models which result in all the components having the same deep, rich, stained finish.This premium finish is applied in a dust-free, controlled environment, resulting in an incomparable finish.

ENGINEERED STILES & RAILS

All Cavalier stile & rail components have beenspecially engineered for durability and stability.Sawn Mahogany laminates are applied overfinger-jointed/edge-glued wood cores, using mortise& tenon joinery, creating components that are morestable than solid wood. Each stile also features asolid Mahogany edge-band.

FLOATING PANELS

The solid/finger-jointed Mahogany panelsare free to "float" between fixed ends whichreduces the possibility of the panels splittingdue to natural wood contractions.

RAISED MOULDING

Applied mouldings are used on both sides ofall Cavalier doors. The moulding has a simple,rustic profile - perfectly complementing thedistressed design.

HAND-CRAFTED BLACK IRON

Iron clavos, or decorative nails, are optional on allCavalier designs. An operating “speakeasy” door withcompression bulb weather-stripping is also available.Speakeasy grille, also in black iron, is an option onall designs.

FACTORY-FINISHED

All Cavalier doors are custom factory-finished.Doors are stained and highlighted to create thatauthentic aged look, bringing out the naturalcharacteristics of the Mahogany wood. The doors arethen top-coated with a UV-resistant polyurethane.Matching (non-distressed) frame components withpleasing color match are also available.

Cavalier is available in a variety of designs andsizes (see table), including a 3’6” wide door.
