Transtyle Rubber Torsion Axle
If you’re looking for a softer, high quality ride, without ongoing maintenance and repairs, look no further than Transtyle Rubber Torsion Axles. Transtyle rubber torsion axles offer a significant improvement to ride quality in comparison to the conventional spring axles because both sides of the axle operate independently from each another. The rubber elastomer springs also help to smooth out the ride by absorbing at lot of the bumps; hence it is also a quieter ride. Our axles are virtually maintenance free and have no leaf springs that will rust.
How does the Rubber Torsion System Work?
Four natural rubber cords within the main structure of the axle beam surround the steel torsion bar. The wheel/hub spindle is attached to a lever, called the torsion arm assembly. This assembly comprises of the torsion arm, torsion bar and spindle. When load is applied to the trailer the torsion arm assembly pivots around the torsion bar, causing a rolling or compressive resistance in the rubber cords inside the axle beam.

When using for tandem axle trailers, it must allow for 20% decrease in axle capacity. Eg = two axles 2,500 kgs capacity will be suitable for 4,000 kgs ATM tandem trailers. And 25 % for tri-axle trailers. Eg = three axles 2,000 kgs capacity will be suitable for 4,500 kgs.

All orders received by Transtyle Australia are an indication that the customer had read, fully understands, and accepts all of the terms and conditions of this warranty policy.
This warranty policy is applicable only to spare parts and does not apply to trailers purchased from Transtyle Australia.
(1) Warranty CoverageTranstyle Australia warrants their products to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service. The use of these products for other than their intended use or any alternations made to a product will render void all terms of this warranty.The exclusive remedy offered under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective item only. Transtyle Australia shall determine and their discretion, whether repair or replacement is appropriate. Transtyle Australia’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part and is not liable for any incidental or consequential damage to property or persons. On discovery of any defect in the Goods, the Customer must immediately notify the Company in writing of such defect.

(2) Warranty DurationThe warranty periods listed below are effective from the date of original invoice and extends only to the original purchaser of the product only.All parts in this catalogue are covered with a 12 month warrant.With the exception of the following:
(a) Rubber Torsion Axles5 yrs: Torsion axle beams from structural defects5 yrs: Torsion axle arms from structural defects2 yrs: Torsion axle rubber cordsNot covered: Wheel bearings, seals, spindles and brake pads.
(3) Warranty ExclusionsThis warranty does not extend to or cover defects caused by:• Normal usage wear and tear• Unreasonable operation and/or use• Accidents• Off-road use• Failure to provide reasonable and/or necessary maintenance• Improper installation or assembly performed by another party other than Transtyle Australia.• Any alterations made to parts supplied• Non standard production parts• Improper wiring of the brakes to the trailers or tow vehicle• The attachment of the axle assembly to the trailer• Alignment• Improper wheel nut torque• The welding of supplemental mounting brackets or members to exiting axle beam• Transtyle Australia will not be responsible for additional costs incurred for replacement, removal or reinstallation
of any parts supplied. This includes but is not limited to towing costs, storage costs, labour costs, travel costs, postage and freight costs, loss of income or any other cost or loss incurred. The liability of Transtyle Australia is limited to the repair or replacement of the product purchased only.
(4) Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, the following information must be supplied by the purchaser:• Proof of purchase• Full contact details of purchaser• Where applicable, serial number, of product• Detailed description of the defect
