In 2005 I have started with a series of drawings in different materials l ike pastel , oi lpastel ,
colored ink, f inel iner, typex, East-indian ink and colourpencil . Because of the variety of
materials and the many colours, these piantings are very powerful . Each painting has originated
in the same way, sometimes six at a t ime. First I have created several l ines with pi lot f inel iner
revolving around a kind of horizon. Subsequently I have developed the drawings in an intuit ive
way, making faces, bui ldings, abstract forms and repetit ive stains intertwine. The observer can
bring this to real isation because it is fulf i l ls the imagination. Some parts are recognisable,
others need real ization by the observer. Al l drawings have a clearly recognisable horizon.
