1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.2 In a mixing bowl and using an electric mixer, combine butter, flour, icing sugar; mix until mixture is a smooth consistency.3 NOTE: If you wish to add some flavor to the cookies, add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and/or coconut extract.4 Prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper.5 Spoon out dough onto parchment lined cookie sheets by teaspoonfuls or by tablespoons for larger cookies, spacing about 2 inches apart.6 Cut maraschino cherries into quarters and place one piece in the middle of each cookie.7 Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 13 to 15 minutes or until bottom of cookies are lightly browned, DO NOT OVERBAKE.8 Remove from oven and let cool on cookie sheet for about 5 minutes.9 Transfer onto wire racks to finish cooling.10 Store in a container with a lid and separate each layer with wax paper.

11 Use sprinkles, half an almond or half a cashew or chocolate to the top of the cookies before baking to make a reindeer.

Sweet Ham and Swiss Sliders

12 dinner rolls, cut in half Honey Ham Swiss cheese mayonnaise 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 8 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon onion powder or diced onion 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon poppy seeds 1/4 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 400

In a 9x13 glass baking dish, place bottom half of dinner rolls and top with 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese. Spread thin layer of mayonnaise on each top-half of roll and place on top of ham and cheese. You want the rolls to be snug together.

In a small bowl combine the mustard, melted butter, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and brown sugar. Mix until combined and evenly pour over the assembled rolls. You will not need all the sauce.

Bake covered with foil for 10 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the tops are browned, and cheese is melted. Serve hot or cold.
