January 18, 2015 Dear Friends, On March 21st I will be lacing up my sneakers and participating in the VA Beach Shamrock Marathon 8k race to raise money for Joy Childrens Village in Kenya. I will run as a member of the Run for a Kenyan team sponsored by Tree of Lives, a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen the African Christian family as they fight poverty and AIDS. Currently there are 42 previously abandoned and neglected children who call Joy Childrens Village home, thanks to the diligent and faithful work of Tree of Lives. The Village has room for 18 additional children and in fact, the majority of those 18 have already been identified. This race was organized to support Tree of Lives in their commitment to offer sustaining care and a Christian home for 60 Joy Village Children until they reach adulthood. I need your help! Please commit to sponsor me to run or walk with the Run for a Kenyan team March 21st. The goal of this Tree of Lives fundraiser is $25,000, all of which must be raised through the generosity and compassion of sponsors. I hope you will consider being one of my sponsors. I intend to finish the race, no matter how long it might take me! You can support me by visiting the following website and scrolling through the fundraisers until you find my name: http://www.treeoflives.org/Sponsor-A-Run-For-A-Kenyan-Runner If you prefer, you can mail a check to Tree of Lives, P.O. Thank in advance for your compassion and generosity, Proud to be a part of the Run for a Kenyan Shamrock team,

Dear Friends,

On March 21st I will be lacing up my sneakers and participating in the VA Beach Shamrock

Marathon 8k race to raise money for Joy Children’s Village in Kenya. I will run as a member of

the Run for a Kenyan team sponsored by Tree of Lives, a non-profit organization whose

mission is to strengthen the African Christian family as they fight poverty and AIDS.

Currently there are 42 previously abandoned and neglected children who call Joy Children’s

Village home, thanks to the diligent and faithful work of Tree of Lives. The Village has room

for 18 additional children and in fact, the majority of those 18 have already been identified.

This race was organized to support Tree of Lives in their commitment to offer sustaining care

and a Christian home for 60 Joy Village Children until they reach adulthood.

I need your help! Please commit to sponsor me to run or walk with the Run for a Kenyan team

March 21st. The goal of this Tree of Lives fundraiser is $25,000, all of which must be raised

through the generosity and compassion of sponsors. I hope you will consider being one of

my sponsors. I intend to finish the race, no matter how long it might take me!

You can support me by visiting the following website and scrolling through the fundraisers

until you find my name:
