Many people in our country are fond of sports. Of course, each person has somebody who has helped him to understand, that sport is a very important thing

in our life.

As for me — it was my teacher of physical training — Nina Andreevna Pettay.

She was really an extraordinary person.

She could make real sportsmen from very weak pupils. All the pupils loved

her because of her personal qualities. We always took

part in different competitions in our district,

city and even country.

Thanks to her teacher’s talent, courage, kindness and diligence, our school has won many rewards.

As for me, I like sport very much and I can’t imagine my life without it. In my childhood I was a figure skater. Then I

played table tennis and basketball, I was crazy about tourism. Now I prefer

camping, swimming, playing volleyball on the beach and of course skating.

I work as a teacher at school where I have been studying for 10 years. And I do all my best to

explain to my pupils how important sport is for our health and life. We are happy and proud that we

live in a such sport country!
