Confi dence continues through WinterGenerally speaking the onset of Winter sees a decrease in property sales activity, but I believe this year will be different.

With the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne property markets surging ahead plus the recent reduction in interest rates, the local sales momentum from Autumn will continue through Winter.

Genuine buyers don’t care if its cold or raining, and here on the Sunshine Coast we really don’t experience the buyer winter hibernation.

According to economists we are in a “low-interest rate phase which isn’t likely to end soon”. This leads to a lot of confi dence in the market. Annual Whale MigrationDid you know Coolum is the best land-based whale watching location on the Sunshine Coast? With the migration starting July and ending October, head out to the best vantage points to catch a glimpse of the the Humpback Whales splashing about. Point Perry, Point Arkwright, Mount Coolum and Emu Mountain can offer wonderful photographic opportunities of this spectacular event.

Last year 20,000 whales travelled north. Keep your eyes peeled for the tell tale “spout or blows”, dorsal fi ns and tail fl ukes, like our cover photo.
