MASTER CLASSWITH EVA BRANDYS

This master class, held by our own Eva Brandys, is open to all instrumentalists. Each

instrumentalist will perform at least one piece, and others are welcome to join as listeners. Eva

Brandys will discuss how to practice correctly and perform with confidence while offering

guidance, and inspiration to young musicians.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY

Eva Brandys, owner of Park Cities School of Music & Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts, began

her formal musical training in her native country, Poland, and continued her education in the

United States. Ms. Brandys holds a M.M. in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy from Southern

Methodist University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance from Dallas Baptist University.

Eva has over two decades of experience as a piano instructor in both private and group settings.

She has taught piano in Poland, England, and the United States at DBU Children’s Lab School,

SMU Piano Preparatory Department, and DALLAS/MUSIC, Inc. She is a member of the Dallas

Music Teacher’s Association, Texas Music Teacher’s Association, and the Music Teachers National

Association. Ms. Brandys served as a DMTA Chairman of the Sonata-Sonatina-Baroque Festival

for four years, served as Member-at-Large on the Board of DMTA. Eva Brandys released her first

EP entitled “Eva” on November, 2016, showcasing her original piano compositions. She is also the

creator of Pre-K group classroom teaching method “Little Mozarts Music.” Over the course of her

career, Ms. Brandys has performed throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States. She has

given both solo and chamber performances. Ms. Brandys is a well-respected piano instructor and

performer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

TEACHEROF THE MONTH

PATRICIA TSAI

Our featured teacher for this month is Patricia Tsai! Ms. Patricia teaches violin, viola, piano, voice, and toddler group classes. She’s a well-versed musician, having been elected the third vice president of Denver Music Teachers Association and the secretary of Colorado Pace Setters. Internationally, she has participated in the Symphonic Workshops & Professional Development at Kroméríz in Czech Republic. There, she also performed as a piano soloist with the Kroméríz Festival Orchestra and the Hradec Kralove Philharmonic. Ms. Patricia is also a part of several notable music organizations in DFW including the Fort Worth Music Teacher Association and the Texas Music Teachers Association. She has been working with us since January 2018. Thank you for all your hard work, Ms. Patricia!

Bradley is currently in his fourth year at

PCSM and takes viol in from Richmond

Punch as well as piano from Patricia Tsai .

Bradley has been learning piano for four

years and viol in for three years  at the Park

Cities School of Music . He has won several

awards at competit ions including superior

awards from  Dallas Music Teachers

Association 's    sonata-sonatina festivals and

recently the University of Texas at

Arlington 's annual Fall Keyboard Contest .  

Bradley also l ikes math and science , and is

a member of the math team at Highland

Park McCulloch Intermediate School .
