I am directed to refer to this Department's Letter No. 7/44/2015-1FP1/ 746 dated24.8.2015 and No.3/2/97-lFP1/656 ,dated 7.8.2015 on the subject cited above and to convey thatthe Governor of Punjab IS pleased to release further dearness relief @ 6% to Punjab Govt.employees and pensioners increasing the existing rate of 113% to 119% w.e.f. 1-·1-2016. and inthe case of employees and pensioners opting for unrevised scales from 212% to 223% w.e.f.from 1.8.2015 and from 223% to 234% w.e.f. 1.1.2016 J payable with salary/pension of Ianuarv,2016.
