Prot. N. 41/19/I
Most Blessed Father,
Justin Cormie, deacon of the archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, who, on the first day of the next month of June, by the most eminent and reverend metropolitan archbishop of the Holy Roman Church Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, in the co-cathedral church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will be promoted to the sacred priesthood, humbly implores a plenary indulgence for the faithful who, being truly penitent and compelled by charity, purifying themselves by sacramental confession and refreshing themselves with the Most Holy Eucharist, and finally pouring forth prayers for the intention of your holiness, will be devoutly present among the people on the days and sacred places of the first prayed Mass, as already indicated in the entreating letters.
And God, etc.
March 4, 2019
The Apostolic Penitentiary, by the mandate of the most holy Pope Francis, freely assents to the proposed requests. Thus, the faithful, progressing ever more toward the act of life, will be roused to the supernatural virtues, especially of Faith, Hope, and Chari-ty, and will strengthen their communion with the Roman Pontiff, the visi-ble foundation of the unity of the whole Catholic Church.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary.

As a school, Saint Theresa earned official recognition at the state level of PSIA, coming in 6th in the Elementary division, and tying for 10th in the Middle School division. This is a remarkable accolade, given that we have only
been involved with PSIA for two years and we have less than 240 students. Great Job, Griffins!!
P -K K F T Fifty curious and energetic STCS Griffins descended upon the Fort Bend Discovery Center and Museum of Natural History in Sugar Land on Wednesday, May 8th. Highlights of the trip were the Dinosaur Dig, Yalalag: A Mountain
Village in Mexico, and Kidtropolis, USA. Fifty happy but tired STCS Griffins returned to school in time for dismissal.

In recent weeks some Catholics around the Archdiocese have received solicitation emails
or text messages from unknown persons claiming to be Roman Catholic priests.
The soliciting party requests that gift cards be purchased for use by a priest or parish church.
These solicitations are false and should be ignored. No priest, deacon, or anyone else
acting on behalf of St. Theresa Catholic Church, or any other parish of the Archdiocese,
will ever solicit cash or gift cards for personal or Church use. Thank you.

PRAYER FOR MY FAMILY
Loving God, I offer thanks for the gift of my family. Help us to work together for peace and harmony in
our relationships.
Grant us the grace to accept each other’s faults and weaknesses. Protect us
from harsh words and hurt feelings. Assist us to encourage one another’s
strengths and abilities. Lead us to mutual understanding and support.
May we always forgive each other’s failings
and rejoice in one another’s successes.
Watch over my family, Dear Lord. Bless us with good health and happiness. Fill our hearts with love, patience and kindness
for one another, now and always. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Gladden us with holy joys, almighty God,
and make us rejoice with devout thanksgiving, for the Ascension of Christ
your Son is our exaltation, and, where the Head has gone before in glory,
the Body is called to follow in hope.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity f the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
