S6LCU5control unit not only for Audi S6 LED DRL

basic configuration– DRL turn ON automaticaly 5 seconds after engine start– DRL fade out or tur off when headlights turn ON– DRL stays ON for 5 seconds after engine stop– when button 1 pressed shortly, DRL blink for 2 seconds (greeting), when pressed

again within those 2 seconds, greeting stops immediately– when button1 pressed longer (more than 1 sec) when headlighs ON , DRL intensity

switches (full->off->faded->full...) – when button 1 pressed longer (more than 1 sec) when headlighs OFF and key ON,

DRL swithes OFF (then ON, OFF … ) - you can turn off DRL when driving– when button 1 pressed longer (more than 1 sec) when headlighs OFF and key OFF,

DRL swithes ON (then OFF, ON … ) - you can turn on DRL when car stopped

„blinking“ extension– you can switch between 4 blinking modes by pressing button 2 shortly– by pressing button 2 for more than 1 second, blinking stops immediately

„blinkers“ extension– when signals from blinkers are connected to the unit, DRL on the same side as

blinking blinker fades out, when blinker stops blinking, DRL shines at 100% again. When headlighs are ON, DRL faded and blinker starts blinking, DRL on that side shines at 100% (corner light function).

– when both blinkers are blinking, both DRL fade out when blinkers are ON, and shine at 100% when blinkers are OFF

„coming home / leaving home“ extension– if you find cables with lock/unlock signals and connect them to the unit, DRL will

blink for 2 seconds and then shine for 18 seconds after car is locked/unlocked– you can also use 1 signal cable, which has +12V when car is locked and 0V when

unlocked. In this case, there must be at least 20 second interval between lock/unlock– or DRL can turn ON when engine stopped and fog lights are ON

– you have to tell me exactly what signals you have so that I configure program properly!

„canbus“ extension– recent cars (mostly newer than 2001) use CANbus – and the unit can use it too. It

can read many informations like car locked/unlocked, lights state, engine state etc … so that you don't have to connect so many wires to the unit. It will read all necessary info from CANbus

– warning! Each car model can have different canbus speed/informations format, so the car has to be tested first by me. I have scanned VW Passat B5, Audi A6 2006, Mercedes R-Class 2009, Audi A3 2005. If you have another car, I need it here and scan it ...

The unit expects possitive (+12V) signals, if you have negative (0V), you have to tell me!

for basic configuration2 – button 1 (you don't have to connect if you don't want greetings)7 – connect headlights signal (+12V when lights on)8 – connect key signal (+12V when key ON/engine started)

blinking extension1 – button 2

coming/leaving home3 – lock signal (+12V impulse when car locked)4 – unlock signal (+12V impulse when car unlocked) or connect cable with 0V when car locked and +12V when unlocked or connect fog light you have to tell me if you want non-standart configuration (lock/unlock signal)

blinkers extension5 – right blinker signal (front passenger side)6 – left blinker signal (driver side)

warning – this is default connection for Audi S6 LEDS, if you have other, pins 7,8,9,10 can have different functions, read following pages
