    PREFACE

    In the modrn economy management is required at all levels. All wold

    try to get specialization in management. Management is the base of

    development & improvement. Without managemen we cannot develop &

    improvement of country will stoped. Now, I study in bechlore of Business

    administration (B.B.A.). It is three year course. After completion of B.B.A. I

    want to Join M.B.A. which is master degree.

    In our subject name GROWTH & STRUCTURE OF INDUSTRIES. In

    this subject we have to visit any two particular units. So we have to visited

    Sabar Dairy and Bayer Crop-Science Limited.

    The Management of both the units is very nice. They Co-operate us

    and give information about it. So we are thankful to them.

    The Iron man of Sardar Vallabhai Patel Suggest to establish a Co-

    Operative society and they establish AMUL DAIRY in ANAND and inspiring

    Milk is preserved throught pasteurization.

    Milk is collected from about 1700 villages.

    machines set up by Sabar Dairy. A card has provided each employee

    with number by the card Sabar Dairy knows in which time, date, shifts

    and month, He entered.

    The Sabar Dairy was established in 1964. The Dairy was established

    in 27 Dec. 1964 by the mutual efforts of the manager of Amul Dairy. Dr. V.

    Kurein and B. K. Patel at Boria in 1965, 5100 Liter Milk was collected and

    now a days Sabar Dairy is more progressive and collect more than 7,00,000

    Liters of Milk.

    In 1971, the first food 1, I programmed of India Dairy Co-opration

    project with a capacity of I-5 lacks liter for the dairy sectioned total cost of

    dairy plant was received from Indian Dairy Co-operation. The milk union

    equired a land of about 40 crores. On National High way No. 8 Baria Village

    1.6 Km. away from Himmatnagar.

    On 12 Oct. 1973 the dairy was set up reception and pasteurization

    plant. On 9 Oct. 1974 the calling center was achived to save high quality of

    raw raw-material milk. It was established at cost of 14 lacks with 30,000

    liters capacity.

    The animal husbandry complex was also started on 4 Nov 1981 Day

    to day milk collection of Sabar Dairy increased food 2 operatin increased

    plant capacity of 4 lacks liters per day which is introduce in. 1982 for

    development of this 3 plant Sabar Dairy Spent 15 crores they converting 30

    tons of milk into powder.

    National Production councial gave a DAIRY DEVELOPMENT

    GAURAV PURASKAR For the year 1987-88, 89-90, 90-91, 97-98, 99-2000

    more over Sabar Dairy also get National Safety award in 1992-2000.

    Sabar Dairy also got a Development RATNA AWARD in 1995, a First

    time and GUJARAT SAFETY AWARD got in 1996, 2000, 2001.

    (10) Pollution Control Measure :

    The dust and machine is wash through water and this water is sent to

    the nearly agriculture areas and there after it required. It is purified and sent

    to plants also there is an FIP plant through which the gums of the product

    remained or wasted is collected and sold as by product.

    fild is Sabar Dairy is wide enough. There are many types of walfare

    facilities are given to the workers.

    There are three types of shifts in Dairy.

    Recruitment :

    Recruitment is a process from which we get source of man dower

    which is suitable for our organization. Recruitment is possible from two

    ways.

    In Sabar Dairy internal source like Promotion, Demotion, lay off and

    transfer.

    The external source like Advertisement employment, Agencies,

    Deputation and on campus recruitment.

    Sabar Dairy give advertise in news paper T.V. etc., Interview is taken

    by committee. In committee 5 to 7 person in the committee. There are 1

    m.o, 1 personnel manager or 2 directors etc.

    The selection procedure is concerned with securing relevant

    Promotion :

    Promotion means of transfer of employees to a position which give

    him more benefit.

    In Sabar Dairy, Generally after every seven year promotion is given to

    graduate and diploma holder and who pass ITI and who passed only S.S.C.

    then person get promotion after nine years.

    Tansfer means change employees department to department position

    to position. For the Transfer there is no fixed policy, Transfer is made as and

    when need arise or when demanded by employees.

    Sabar dairy normally paid wage and Salary on weakly and monthly.

    For unskilled labour Rs. 45 per day skilled workers Rs. 3287 per

    months.

    8.33% is transferred provident fund.

    (13) Grievance Handling Procedure :

    Grievance means complains or dissatisfaction arising among

    employees due to payment policies, promotion, over time, leave, work,

    assignment etc. The procedure of talking and showing such problem is

    known as grievance handling procedure.

    For the settlement of grievance there is a welfare officer in deity for

    this. They also believe in management by working and any problem or

    grievance is solved by way of justice.

    The aggrieved workman in the first instance may obtain the grievance

    from personnel department and submit his grievance in person in the

    prescribed for to his immediate superior who would register the time and

    date of receipt of the form in the column meant for the purpose in the

    grievance form.

    It refers to a made of fixing the terms of employees by name of

    Ghee is costly product. Retail, price of this product is 1 Kg = 135 Rs. It

    is very useful product in every home. So it consumed at every levels of

    group. There are many competitive product. However Sabar dairy is

    covered 80% Share of market.

    Shrikhand :

    The shrikhand is seasonable product and it consumed by high or

    middle level of income groups and the sale of Shrikhand is depend on taste.
