HANDLING & STORAGE:Stack short sheets on top of longer ones. Store sheets in a cool and dry place out of direct sunlight. To prevent solar heat buildup, avoid covering the stack of sheets with a dark tarp or other heat absorbing material.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:• Use only 100% silicone.• Do not put polycarbonate in contact with PVC.• Polycarbonate is generally unaffected by acids, alcohol, glycols, mineral oil, animal and vegetable fats, kerosene, and non-abrasive cleaners. • Call for complete list of chemicals.

STORAGE & HANDLING:• Store sheets in a cool and dry place.• Do not stack sheets covered or uncovered in direct sunlight.• If left in sun, protective film on sheet may become difficult to remove.• Stacking may cause sheets to heat up and distort.• Avoid putting panels in direct contact with cements or paints.

DRILLING & SCREWING:• Use only new or sharply ground steel or carbide tipped drills.• Pre-drill fixing holes by at least 5/64” larger than screw for expansion.• Use 3/4” neoprene bonded washers.• Recommended Screws and Washers: - Wood: #10 2” Sharp Tip w/.75” washer - Treated Wood: #12 2” Pan head w/.75” washer - Steel: #12 1.5” Self-Drill w/.75” washer - Aluminum: #12 1.5” Self-Drill w/.75” washer

SAWING:• Keep masking on the sheet to prevent scratching.• Sheets cut with fine-toothed band saw or circular saw with fine tooth blades.• Utility knives can also be used to cut.• Clamp sheets to prevent vibration.• Remove powder or debris from surface with compressed air/vacuum.

END CLOSURE:• Seal ends with anti-dust tape and a U-Channel.• Drill holes every 12” with a 1/8” drill bit to allow condensation to drain out.

INSTALLATION:• Use H-Channel to connect two sheets.• Fasten all four corners 1 1/2” from edge.• At purlin supports, fasten 6” from edge.• Max purlin spacing: 25” 6mm/36” 16mm.• Do not walk on sheets at any time.

OVERGLAZING:• Provide 1” to 2” gap between polycar-bonate and existing glass.• Allow for thermal expansion and provide weep holes for drainage.

BENDING:• Bend sheet longitudinally, never across sheet width.• To avoid excess panel stress, do not bend sheet past minimum diameter.• Minimum radius: 41” 6mm/110” 16mm.

SLOPE:• Minimum slope of 2:12 pitch is required to ensure proper drainage.• Flutes must run downward .

PROTECTIVE FILM:• The UV-protected side of sheet is covered with a printed film.• The UV-protected side must face towards the sun.• UV-protection ensures panels will not yellow or weaken from exposure.• Remove 2” of film from edges before installing. After install is complete, remove all film immediately.

CLEANING:• Normal dirt and dust is washed off by periodical rains.• Regular rinsing of sheets with clean lukewarm water is recommended.• Mild household detergent may be used with a soft rag.• Never use aggressive, abrasive, or glass window cleaners.
