John Calley was President and CEO of Sony Pictures; he was one of the most prolific producers Hollywood has ever seen, and he was an avid yachtsman. Oriana was his pride and joy and he loved to share it with those around him. It is an honour to carry on her legacy and be able to share this rare work of art with others. There are other yachts but none I have seen have the soul and the character of Oriana. MARk SAgER

Mark is the President of the Silva Bay Resort and Marina which is home port to Oriana. He is a passionate yachtsman, having competed in the Victoria to Maui race where he was awarded the Andreas Schueller Memorial Trophy for the best navigator. Mark is also a prominent Canadian lawyer and is the founding member of the law firm Sager Legal Advisors LLP as well as the former Mayor of West Vancouver. He is heavily involved in the community and the arts and is a proud supporter of the Kay Meek Centre as well as a founder of the Harmony Arts Festival. He enjoys diversity in his work and investments and, while remaining active in his law practice, he also works with several land development projects.

Mark pays great attention to detail and enjoys hosting. He will ensure every detail of your charter exceeds your expectations.

Thousands of hours, by talented craftsmen, have been invested into refitting and maintaining Oriana. Every detail and feature has been kept in pristine condition and at sea she performs the way she did on the day of her maiden voyage.

Oriana is 96 feet in length, has 4 guest staterooms and accommodates up to 5 crew members.

Each guest stateroom is tastefully decorated and designed for maximum luxury and comfort, each guest room includes a private washroom.

With a tank capacity of over 25,000 litres this diesel engine yacht has worldwide cruising capabilities. The possibilities are endless.

One of the most scenic and pristine cruising areas in the world is British Columbia’s Inside Passage, a coastal waterway from the Southern Gulf Islands to the Alaskan panhandle in the north, the area includes the famed Desolation Sound, Broughton Archipelago, Great Bear Rainforest and Haida Gwaii.

It is truly a breath of fresh air to experience untouched nature, as it was tens of thousands of years ago. There is no better way to do this than by yacht. Vancouver Island to the west and the multitude of smaller islands create a dense barrier that protects these passageways making the area perfect for a pleasant cruising experience.

From sandstone caves to towering Douglas Firs, majestic Arbutus trees and our iconic Cedars, the Islands protecting the coast of British Columbia are nothing short of spectacular offering breathtaking scenery, unparalleled wildlife viewing, whale watching and inspiring First Nations culture.

Although many of the islands are completely raw and uninhabited, there are plenty of bustling small island towns, full of life, culture and things to do. This beautiful protected bay may be one of the most scenic anywhere.

A national treasure, British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, is the last largely intact coastal temperate rainforest on earth and is home to the rare and unique Spirit Bear. An archipelago of nearly 150 islands, spiritual Haida Gwaii is home to the Haida Nation and bestows unsurpassed scenery amidst heritage sites. Desolation Sound offers summer-time warm waters and magnificent cruising fjords and mountains. To the north, the Broughton Archipelago, is a staggeringly beautiful cruising area of scores of islands with an international reputation for kayaking.
