ST. PAUL: 3RD ANNUAL RAFFLE

Fr. Werner has indicated that his desire is to replace our

aging organ. Replacement parts are non-existent or very

expensive. Therefore, we are asking the much needed

assistance of our parish families.

1.) Provide gift cards from various establishments,

Restaurants, grocery stores, salons, golf course etc..

2.) Theme baskets for Adults and Children. ( popular

items) Vera Bradley, Rumble ponies, Lotto tickets, etc..

3.) Basket of cheer

all be involved in our largest parish fundraiser and

make it a resounding success.

ST. PAUL’S FALL RAFFLE – Get ready!! The 3rd

Annual St. Paul’s $10,000 Fall Fund Raiser Only 200

tickets will be sold. 1st prize $5,000.00!! Each ticket

includes dinner for two. Drawings for all prizes will be

held on Saturday, October 21st, 2017, with dinner in

Morris Hall. Vouchers are in the pews.

ST PAUL’S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS

September 10, 2017 There will be a teachers meeting at

9:30 am and from 10:00 am to 10:50 am there will be early

registration. Fee is $10 per child or $25 for a family of 3 or

more. Classes will begin on September 17, 2017 from 10 to

10:45 am.

ST. PAUL’S IS LOOKING FOR PARISHIONERS TO

SERVE AS LECTORS AND EUCHARISTIC

MINISTERS. There will be a meeting Sunday, August 27,

2017 in the church following the 11 o’clock Mass for

anyone wishing to serve.

ST. PAUL’S MAINSAVER Giveback Program-St. Paul’s

has opened a membership for the Maines Giveback

Program at MaineSource Food & Party Warehouse, on

upper Front Street. Whether you are a regular or an

occasional shopper at Maines, St. Paul’s will receive 5% of

all member sales. The process is simple: Fill out a Member

Application form (on Church radiators.) Return it to the

church office or drop it into the collection basket. Maines

will process the membership cards and send them to the

church office. We will let you know when they are ready

for pick up. Show your card at checkout. The 5% Giveback

applies to both personal purchases and items purchased for

church activities. Thank you!!

****UPDATE****If you sent in your membership forms

before 7/23 your cards are in Eva’s office. Office hours are

9a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It takes about 2 weeks for the

SHOWERS OF HOPE - OUTREACH MINISTRIES

of the Southern Tier is looking for volunteers to work be-

hind the scene as well as on site locations for the “Shower

of Hope Project”. The “Showers of Hope Project” is a

mobile unit that will provide a safe showering facility for

those in need. Volunteers needed to help sort and organ-

ize donations and work at local parishes where mobile

unit will be stationed. The shower unit is in place behind

St. Patrick’s Rectory. We are presently offering showers

on Thursdays from 1-3 pm at St. Patrick’s.

If interested call Mary at 723-9208. The way to serve is as

important as the service, please consider helping.
