    Salem Colleehas been educating women or more than 237years. oday we oer 30 undergraduate majors or young women; graduate programs

    in education or both men and women; and a range o both degree and non-degree

    programs or men and women ages 23 and up through the Fleer Center or Adult

    Education. We are proud to present a wide variety o events each year including

    perorming arts programs, music recitals and art exhibits by distinguished artists as well

    as by our aculty and students.

    During the 2009 2010 year, Salem College will explore the overall theme o How

    Will You Change omorrow? We may not know exact ly how our decisions today will

    bring about the changes needed or a brighter tomorrow, but we do know where to

    begin the process: at Salem College. Te topic o eecting change and being aected

    by it ourselves will be examined not only in the classrooms at Salem but also through

    lectures, panel discussions, perormances, inormal gatherings and common readings.

    Admission to cultural events is ree and open to the public unless otherwise specied inthe description.

    Special NeedsTe main level o the Salem Fine Arts Center, including restrooms, is accessible by

    wheelchair. Wheelchair seating is available in both Shirley Recital Hall and HanesAuditorium, located inside o the Salem Fine Arts Center.

    Late SeatingLate seating opportunities will vary according to the program. Once a program hasbegun, late seating opportunities are limited and may be delayed until an appropri-ate time. Be sure to plan your arrival time to allow or trac and parking. For yourconvenience, we recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes beore the announcedstart-time.
