ThankyouforparticipatinginModernMachineShop’stenthannualTopShopsbenchmarkingsurvey,whichenablesshopsofalltypesandsizestoseehowtheycompareagainstleadingU.S.machiningbusinesses.

Inworkingwithourcompany’sresearchandanalyticsteam,GardnerIntelligence(gardnerintelligence.com),toprovideadditionalvaluetoourreaders,wehavedevelopedthiscustomreportthatranksyourresponsestothesurvey’squantitativequestionsrelativetoothersurveyparticipants.Thegoalindevelopingthisreportisnotjusttoofferabaselineperformance“reportcard”ofsorts,buttohelpeliminatetheneedtorelyongutfeelingsasamethodofidentifyingandprioritizingyourshop’simprovementefforts.

Theinitialpagesofthisreportdescribehowtoreadthedataplotsforthevarioussurveyquestionsandprovideageneralperformancesummaryforyourcompany.Thatsummaryincludesyouroverallsurveyrank(amongthereportablesurveysreceivedthisyear)andlistskeymetricsforwhichyourcompanyisparticularlystrong,isonparwithothers,orperhapsshouldbetargetedforimprovement.
