Work your way around the entiredevice by carefully prying andsliding the plastic opening tool.

There are clips approximately 2cmapart. As you are removing the backcover you should hear the clipsbeing dislocated from the tablet.

Remove the 8 Phillips#00 3-mm screws holding the battery in place.

Gently grasp and lift up the whiteconnector located at the bottom rightcorner of the battery. It is connectedto the battery by two blue and twored wires.

Do not yank the connector by thewires. If it does not disconnecteasily, slide a plastic opening toolbetween the white connector and theboard to lift the connector away fromthe board.

The volume and power buttons arejoined together on a common strip,so you are replacing bothsimultaneously.

Disconnect the black connector bypulling up using a plastic openingtool underneath the edge. Thisconnection attaches thepower/volume cable to the motherboard.
