PRESIDENT’S CORNER
END OF SEASON Season has wound down and most have already left to go home! Please remember to follow recommended end of season close up procedures. Make sure all water sources are shut off. Make sure your valves are turned off. Please make sure you air conditioning is no higher than 77 degrees, as recommended by our insurance company, to prevent mold. We are busy planning our summer projects. Please make sure if you have a car that is left here that the staff has access to keys so we can move it as we power washing and paint the carports. For anyone considering renovations this summer, please contact the office to get the process started. Owners, please note that the Town of Fort My-ers Beach met in May regarding the short term rental ordinance. The short term rental ordinance affects homeowners not condo own-ers but we will pass on more information as it becomes available.

It has been another great season at the Sandarac. I hope you all have safe travels back to your homes
and look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
We are also asking owners to update their owner information with the office. All owners will be getting a
new packet with rules and regulations, and owner information sheets. Please take the time to update the
information out and return it to the office.
SURVEY TIME!
From time to time, we send out surveys to get a feel of how owners feel about a situation. It does not
mean that we are changing rules. We are trying to get a feel of how owners react. Recently, we polled for
a small dogs as pets: The pet survey question was: Do you think that dogs under 25lbs should be
allowed as pets at the Sandarac? 52 owners responded to our Survey Monkey poll. Thank you to all the
owners that participated!

HURRICANE SEASON
During Hurricane season, you need to have a local person who will be available almost immediately after
the storm check your condo. Please make sure your designated person will be available! The association
will charge $60.00 to check your condo if your designated person person is does not check on your con-
do after the storm.
RECYCLING AREA
With season here, the recycling area fills up quickly. Please break down boxes. Do not leave recycles on
the ground. Advance Disposal will not pick them up and put them in the truck. Please break down all box-
es. For large items, please leave them in the new designated areas, where paint disposal used to be and
contact the office so we can schedule a pick up. Appliances and water heaters should be removed by the
vendor you have hired to install them.

BICYCLE AREA
Bike area is now cleaned up. Please make sure
to register all bikes with the office!
• Power wash car port roofs
• Paint car ports
• Replace Roof Stack on 1 and 2 stacks
• Roof repair on stack 5
• Repair concrete spalling in crawl space under both towers
• Replace 25 year old pool heaters and/or upgrade electric panel with more cost ef-fective and efficient options
• Mulch property
• Maintain beach wall

PAINT DISPOSAL PROCEDURES
• For empty cans, please throw in the trash.
• For partially empty cans, please put out in
the sun to dry then throw in the trash.
• For full or almost full cans and 5 gallon
buckets, please dispose in the trash room
and notify the office.
Pest Control comes every other month on
the first Thursday of the even months.

A special thank the Social Committee for all the hard
work put into planning fun activities at Sandarac. Overall,
the feedback about the food truck events have been ex-
tremely positive. We a continue to get requests for more
events. We are looking forward to planning more events
in the fall and winter of 2018.
