PRESIDENT’S CORNER
September has arrived! Sprucing at the Sanda-rac continues! The landscaping installed this summer is thriving! We have been power washing he building and painting all the floors. We have re-thatched and pressure washed the pool deck! We are in-stalling new flooring and painting in the unused office space. At the September 16th board meeting, the board voted to update no smoking rule to includ-ing no smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes in the common areas including elevators, pool area and social room.

HURRICANE PREPARATION
We recommend that all owners have a local person
check their condos monthly to make sure all is well at
least once a month.
A good condo watch person will check your unit and will
contact you if there are any issues found. They may also
start your car if you have one parked here and can check
your unit after severe weather.
Some of the issues discovered by condo watch are
• Dead batteries in thermostats & smoke alarms
• Air conditioning not at correct temperature
• Leaking toilets and faucets
FLOOD INSURANCE
Sandarac is beach front and therefore located in a flood
zone. A suggestion would be made to owners to obtain
home owners and flood insurance to cover their con-
tents in case of loss. For more information, contact Lin-
da Young at Gulf Shore Insurance at 239-659-7293!
ELECTRICAL LIFE SPAN
Did you know electrical panels
have a life expectancy of about
20 –30 years?
SURGE PROTECTION
Did you know that Florida is the lightning
capital of the country? Lightning strikes
can affect appliances like stoves, refrigera-
tors, dishwashers and television sets. The
building itself has lightning protection but it does not
protect individual units or their appliances. Surge protec-
tion can be purchased separately and installed in your
electric panel. For more information, contact the office!
TURTLE SEASON CONTINUES!
Turtle nesting season is from May 1st to Octo-
ber 31st. Turtle lighting on lanais must be am-
ber, red or you must have a special filter. Do
not use your phone flashlight on the beach at
night!
DON’T FORGET STING RAYS SEASON TOO!
Shuffle your feet until October 31st.

Half Days- $18 after 2:00 Add on- Umbrella or Chair $12 each
Seasonal Cabana Rental Rates- $750
Seasonal pricing is available for Cabanas only.
Grandfathered (Existing) Chair/Umbrella Seasonals may continue to renew for this price each year.
Seasonals start as early as Nov. 1st and end and as late as April 30. Seasonal Rates are for unit own-
er’s personal use- not to be subleased/included with unit rentals.
