Lego Robotics Kits Resources Available There are often items needed to complete a 4-H
project or program that not readily available to our
members and their families items.
The Extension Office does loan some resources
items to our members, parents and advisors.
Some of these items include:
Cloverbud Kits
Bottle rocket launchers
Projectors (signed out to volunteers only)
Project manuals, helper guides, and resources
All items must be reserved and are available on a
first come, first served basis. Please contact the
Extension Office if you need assistance or for more
information.
OSU Extension owns nine Lego Robotics Kits which
are available for members to rent for the 4-H
project year (April-July). This allows a member to
take the project for a fraction of the cost. The cost
of rental is a $50 deposit, $30 of which is returned
to the member when they complete the project and
return the kit in good condition.
These kits are reserved on a first
come first serve basis. No kit can
leave the office until a member is
officially enrolled in the project.
The Robotics projects are recommended for
ages 11 and older due to advanced reading
level and concepts presented. This year, only
youth 11 years and older can rent robotics kits.
Please contact the Extension Office for more information.

Beginning in April 2017 OSU Extension will no longer mailing hard copies
of 4-H Newsletters to all families.
We are moving to a primarily online system for distributing newsletters and other bulk mailings to ensure that families receive information in a timely manner. The bulk mail system we have been using to mail newsletters is much less expensive than first class mail. However, bulk mail can take up to three weeks to be processed by the post office (plus regular delivery time) and bulk mail letters which are not deliverable are not returned to the sender so we do not know when members aren't getting their mail. Digital newsletters can be in your hands within minutes. They are saved online where they aren't easy to lose and every member of the family can access them whenever needed. We need your help for this to work - Please be sure to give us a valid email on your enrollment form and write clearly so we can read it. We will have hard copies of newsletters at the Extension Office for those who prefer printed copies. We do understand that some families do not have access to email or internet, and we want to be sure that all families get their newsletter. If your family does not have internet access and you need to have a paper copy mailed, please complete the form below and submit it with your enrollment forms. Those newsletters will be sent first class (not bulk). However, we ask that you only complete this form if you do not have access to internet, as the cost is much higher and we cannot mail first class newsletters to 700+ homes.
Thank you for your help as we transition to this new system.
