Formation Process

This project was to create a Tokyo Bay future city plan. I based it on rubber band basic structure modeling All buildings, transportation and ecological programs are suspended between rubber bands. Therefore, some space would be even denser populated because my modeling shows incredibly large spans that are carrying a very high load. This structure has a more thorough hierarchy, meaning that there is a smaller cable within the larger cable system. These minor cables would run perpen-dicular to the major hanging cables and would tie together the separate structures into one superstructure.
