HTRAC™ Intelligent Drive modes:

COMFORT mode: Balanced, helps provide further driver confidence and stable control in all weather conditions

SPORT mode: Dynamic control, sends up to 50% torque to the rear wheels for even greater agility

SMART mode: Automatically shifts your drive mode to meet the demands of current driving conditions between Comfort and Sport, while maintaining fuel efficiency at all other times by sending power mainly to the front wheels. In Hybrid powertrain models, this mode is replaced with an ECO mode dedicated to fuel conservation.

The new Santa Fe offers our available HTRAC™ All-Wheel Drive system. With a quick turn of the drive mode selector dial, you can easily customize the traction distribution with Intelligent Drive Modes and access Multi-terrain Control Modes for added confidence on specific types of terrain, including snow, mud and sand. Constantly monitoring multiple input signals processed over 100 times per second, the system will automatically redistribute wheel traction based on road conditions to help ensure absolute control.
