Sarina Pony Club will be holding an Official Showjumping Day on Saturday 29th October 2016, in

their club grounds. Must be a member of PCAQ, contact Jody Matthews on 0417 707 674 for

further details.

Canteen Available: Saturday – The Pony Club will have drinks available at their club shed.

Sunday - At the yellow ticket box there will be cold water/soft drinks available and Show Society

canteen will be open from 7am – 12 noon with burgers, sandwiches and cold water/ soft drinks etc.

as the Show Society Markets will also be held on the Sunday.

Regulations and Conditions of Entry 1) Any competitor or exhibitor who wishes

to lodge a Protest shall do so in writing accompanied by a Bond of $50.00 within one (1) hour of completion of the Event to main office. The Chief Ring Stewards decision is final.

2) It shall be a condition of entry that the Sarina Show Society Inc. will not be responsible for any accident to any exhibit at the show.

3) All horses are to be under complete control at all times, failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the show grounds for the safety of patrons.

4) Only competitors and Officials are allowed in the Ring during Judging.

5) Competitors, Handlers, Grooms and Others in charge of Exhibits must conform to all directions given by the Stewards. Failure to comply may result in a Fine and or ejection from the Showgrounds.

6) Judges may decline to make Awards where entries are of insufficient merit.

7) Any colt or stallion two years and over shall be led with safe and secure equipment.

8) Stallions may compete in Halter Classes, Dressage, Western Performance Events, and where specified.

9) If numbers permit, Classes may be split at the Chief Ring Steward’s discretion.

10) On the occasion of a clash of events for a Competitor, he/she must decide which event he/she intends to enter. All

competitors will receive three (3) calls only. Latecomers may not be accepted. Program times can only be altered at the discretion of the Chief Ring Steward.

11) All entries are accepted subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies and the By-Laws of the Sarina Show Society Inc.

12) The Executive Committee reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Schedule at any time and without notice.

13) Registration Papers must be presented on request.

14) There will be no refund for unused tickets.

15) Nominations will be accepted on the day of the show (Please see nomination fees).

16) Random blood samples/urine samples may be taken at anytime by the Society’s Veterinary Surgeon to test for prohibited substances.

17) All Riders regardless of age who wish to compete in any event MUST sign an INDEMNITY form PRIOR to entering any classes. A BIOSECURITY HORSE HEALTH DECLARATION MUST ALSO BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED. Forms available at ticket office. NO INDEMNITY /BIOSECURITY HORSE HEALTH FORM - NO ENTRY TO CLASSES.

the weekend to HELP make the weekend run

smoothly. If you are under 18 you must have a

Guardian/Parent on the grounds at all times,

there is a form required by parent and

guardian to sign in the event that parent is not

present.

• Judge has the right to refuse a

rider/horse combination and all competitors

must follow instructions as given by Allison

Arthurs or Judge/Course Builder.

• Horses are permitted 2 starts per day,

in 2 heights. This excludes feature events.

• One Horse/Rider combination.

• This event is run under EA regulations.

• All classes are mounted presentation.

• The Organizing Committee encourages

all riders to be dressed according to FEI dress

standards.

help out where you can and be aware that

there will be other clubs using the grounds so

be respectful of them.

• Dogs are welcome but MUST not be in

the Ring/Warm up area at any time. They

MUST be kept on a leash at all times.

• Stallions must display their Green

Disc’s at all times.

class or event, combine or divide classes

according to the numbers nominated and the

rules governing splitting of groups, alter

1. All horses will be shampooed, rinsed and allowed to dry, and their hooves will picked clean of all solid material and washed with

shampoo.

2. All vehicles and equipment accompanying the horses will be cleaned to remove all solid material that could contain disease

agents, and then disinfected.

members are not in any way liable for any cost, expense, loss, damage, claim, action, proceeding or other liability incurred by or

made against me as a result of any movement of horses to the Event/Farm.

I understand and acknowledge that horse riding is a dangerous activity and that horses can

act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt.

I understand and acknowledge that serious injury or death may result from horse riding

activities.

I agree that I ride at my own risk.

I agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law whilst or for 24 hours before riding

a horse or handling horses

I agree to disclose any pre-existing medical condition that may affect the risk that either

myself or any other person will suffer injury, loss or damage.

CONDUCT

I agree to follow any rules, regulations and signage as set out by the Sarina Show Society Inc, and

any instruction from the volunteer ring stewards at the Sarina Showgrounds and that any

misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction will result in my immediate removal from Sarina

Showgrounds. I agree to wear a helmet and the necessary safety gear whilst riding a horse. If I

suffer any injury or illness, I agree that the Event Organiser and/or Sarina Show Society Inc.

management and volunteers may provide evacuation, first aid and medical treatment at my own

expense, and my acceptance of these terms and conditions constitutes my consent to such

evacuation, first aid and/or medical treatment.

EFFECT OF THIS DOCUMENT

I understand that my signature to this document constitutes a complete and unconditional release of

all liability of Sarina Show Society Inc., Sarina Show Society Inc. Committee members and

volunteers, to the greatest extent allowed by law, in the event of me and/or the children under my

care, suffering injury or death.
