The new generation of explosion-protectedCombics platforms from Sartorius are ATEX-compliant and FM-approved and can be operated in areas where explosive gas anddust mixtures occur. Combics platforms are flexible for use with other suitable products of the Sartorius group ranging fromstand-alone weighing workstations (with anindicator set up in the hazardous area) to

process equipment configurations connectedto transmission or control systems (trans-mitters or controllers set up in a hazardousarea for recipe weighing, batching and fillingsystems). To simplify final approval of yourexplosion-protected weighing system andsave money, we supply documents verifyingthe intrinsic safety of our Combics platforms.
