FRIDAY ACTIVITIES BY K.G KIDS

Real education is the act of acquiring knowledge to gain potential change, dignity of a human being and self-

respect. Our prime roses were equipped with various activities to be more creative, innovative, ingenious and to

radiate their inherent talents.

Our LKG kids were inventive and innovative in representing a pig face in CD [CD art], creating a lamp art

and depicting birthday wishes in frame work using ice cream sticks. Our adventurous kids turned out to be

amateur artists by performing awesome hand art in paper folding by portraying cats, rocket, crown, peacock etc.

A piece of art made by sticking different materials gave a huge sense of delight and joy, when the young artists

performed collage skillfully. Our virtuous tiny tots proved their artistic skills through Coin Shading

Christmas a day of sharing and giving was celebrated on 23.12.17 with cheerfulness and enjoyment. A

marvelous procession to high light the importance of 'secularism' was set as Mr. Radhakrishnan, Assistant

Commissioner of Police, Ambattur range flagged off. Our student actors all dressed in colorful native costumes

and presented the nativity scene of Christmas. The road was filled with blue clad Santa clause dancing to the

melodious jingle bell music crammed sweetness and charm. It was a pleasant sight, watching the lads and dames

as shepherds, moving around in vibrant colors and zeal. They were Joseph, Mary, Wisemen &Santa clause on the

same road. The joyful Christmas song by the choir was the most perfect expression of Christmas celebration. Our

joy knew no bounds when the charming Santa clause presented the gifts to the spectators. There was an extensive

print and television media coverage and it was indeed a great day of joy, fun & happiness.

ORIENTATION PROGRAM

Parents of satheesh Balaji enjoy ample of scope to meet principal and teachers to discuss any matters pertaining

to the welfare of their wards. A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the

center of our universe. To build confidence for effective learning, it is imperative that parents and teachers are

provided a conducive atmosphere. An orientation program for the unconditional loving parents and students

was Organized on 04-Dec-17 to familiarize the parents with the concept of learning at ease.

The highlight of the talk was “SQ3R” a method which stands for Stress free, Questioning, Reading, Reviewing

and Recollecting so as to pass with the highest marks and be ready to face the competitive exams. The learners

are motivated to learn the art of learning with fiery determination and self-motivation.

PONGAL CELEBRATION

Pongal, widely celebrated in Tamilnadu at the end of the harvest season is a thanks giving festival.

In our school we celebrated Pongal on 12.01.18 with pomp and gaiety.It's main objective was to familiarize the

students with the rich culture and tradition of our glorious state.The faculty members and the children were

dressed in the traditional attire like saree and dhothi . Pots were decorated with ethnic designs, fire was lit, milk &

rice was boiled and pongal was prepared. Prayer was offered to Omni Potent God for a good harvest , peace, and

prosperity.The colorful cultural dance by K.G. kids, and the traditional pulliattam dance by primary kids

provided opportunities to exhibit their skills.

Ray of Joy and Happiness was glimpsed among the students, parents, teaching and nonteaching staff when they

were taken for a bullock cart ride.Indeed the celebration provided a real world of pleasure filled with enthusiasm

and cheer to cherish our tradition and culture.

Freedom in mind, faith in work, pride in our heart and memories in our soul, we saluted the Nation on Republic

Day with the fervor of Patriotism. It was a bliss to have Dr.C Aacha Arumugasamy – MBBC, MS, FIAGED, DIP in

A& E, M.Phill- Retteri Kumaran Hospital as the chief guest and to hoist the national flag. Children the gift of

nature, hope of future and the world's biggest wealth were given a platform to exhibit their talents in dance, yoga,

music, playing instruments, martial arts, drama etc to bring cheer and pride.

The Colorful Cultural Programs comprised of dazzling dance by our tiny tots and mind blowing speech in

English,Tamil and Hindi by our students and staff. Our student actors presented themselves as our great National

leaders and equipped our young minds with higher thoughts and highest ideals to instill patriotism through an

English skit. An icing on the cake was a spectacular drama “Veera Pandian Kattabomman” which completely

mesmerized and enthralled the audience.It was indeed a great visual treat and feast for the spectators.

The celebration came to an end by special prize distribution for our enthusiastic parents who have proved their

caliber by preparing the delicious traditional food, and the victorious kids who have excelled in various

competitions.
