SAFETY: Motor Racing is Dangerous…. The Bairnsdale Speedway Association is not responsible for any damage to property or persons. Please ensure children stay back from safety fence at all times. Sporting Public are not permitted in the pit area at any time during the race meeting.

WARNING NOTICE: Motor Racing is dangerous & involves risks and dangers to all persons. All persons are reminded that Motor Racing is dangerous and accidents can happen. All care is taken to protect you but you are warned that there is a possibility of an accident causing injury, death or property damage. By purchase of gate ticket, or free entry etc, you hereby acknowledge entry to the complex has a degree of danger and the promoter, club, corporations, organizations, competitors, and any person having any connection with the promoting, organising or conduct of the event shall have no liability to you except where due care and skill has not been exercised.

FOR YOUR SAFETY: The throwing or smashing of bottles, cans or objects whatsoever, on these grounds is an offence. Also the climbing on fences and buildings. Offenders will be removed from the grounds and prosecuted.

INDEMNIFICATION: Bairnsdale Speedway Association Inc takes no responsibility for the safety of children and shall not be held responsible to any person or persons,Company or Syndicate for injuries sustained by any person, persons, and/or personnel. Nor will they (the Promoters) accept responsibility for damage of any propertywhatsoever, regardless to who it belongs. This also includes the loss of properties.

CANCELLATION NOTICE: Should it be necessary owing to rain, mechanical, electrical fault or through any cause whatsoever to abandon a Speedway meeting, NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

RAIN CHECK POLICY: In the unfortunate event of a rain-out Bairnsdale Speedway will give “rain checks” but will not refund any money. Your entry ticket is your “rain-check”. If your ticket is lost you will not be given a replacement “rain check”. “Rain Check” will be honoured at any one of the race meetings within the current season. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. A “rain-out” is defined as five (5) events or less being successfully completed.

TRADING RIGHTS: The Bairnsdale Speedway Association reserves all trading rights at Bairnsdale Speedway, and only authorised competitions & sales are permitted. Persons breaching these conditions maybe removed from the premises.

ENTRIES: The promoters accept competitor entries from the respective clubs/associa-tions, and drivers in good faith. Every effort is made to adhere to the printed program, but the promoters cannot accept responsibility for the failure of any entrant to appear.The promoters reserve the right to change, postpone, abandon or cancel the meeting or any part thereof. The promoter reserves the right not to accept a competitors nomination.

Welcome everyone to the Bairnsdale Speedway, first race meet for 2018-2019 race season.

The committee and members have been working hard in maintaining the facilities in the off season, also installing a new generator for the canteen. We are happy to announce the new toilet block has been approved by council, so works will start on the hill, behind the canteen very soon.

We have a great action packed programme for you tonight, we do apolo-gise that we are not running Limited Sportsman and Speed cars, due to not enough numbers. We have programmed the Division 2 Hot Rods instead.As a club we appreciate the organisation of the Division 2 Hot Rods for organ-ising eleven cars at such a short notice.

Our main class for the night is VSC Sprintcars, proudly sponsored by HPC (High Profile Cabinets). Our local drivers include Victorian 1 Mark Laity, car 5; Shane Steenholdt, car 15; David Dennison, car 28; Michael Evans, car 35; Adam Greenwood, car 55; Alistair Bastian, car 87; Dillion Siely, car 90; An-drew/Trent Neilsen are all our local drivers which are all quite quick when the conditions are right. We like to thank car 10; David Moore and car 9; DanielOrr as well as new driver Adam Cullinger car 7 for travelling to Bairnsdale.

In Standard Saloons we have our four local drivers up against the hard charges from Moe and Rosedale. The one to watch for is Matthew Bowers who has made his way up from juniors to run in the seniors for the first time!In the junior class, we do not have any local drivers so we do appreciate the four cars that has travelled from Rosedale.

In the coming months we have five state titles and do not forget our Big Action PackedChristmas meet on Boxing Night!

VolunteeringThe Bairnsdale Speedway Association own and run the Bairnsdale Speedway Complex which will hold 7 race meets this season.The complex is staffed by volunteer personnel who face a huge task each season to maintain the circuit and surrounds, whilst at the same time promoting and running each event.

Most of the people involved are not car owners or drivers but simply lend their time and expertise in the interest of motorsport, and without the help of these people we could not continue to operate.
