SAVER™ Field Data RecorderThe award-winning SAVER™ is a Shock and Vibration Environmental Recorder. The SAVER™ measures the actual transportation environment and allows the user to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of both package and product design. SAVER™ is a rugged, powerful, and flexible tool. The SAVER™ measures tri-axial acceleration, temperature, and humidity. An internal clock and optional GPS reveal the exact time and location of each shock and vibration event. The SAVER™ has eight dynamic channels for measurement of acceleration and six static channels for measurement of temperature, humidity, pressure, and GPS.
The SAVER™ can be utilized to:
• Ruggedize product design to reduce loss and damage
• Improve package design to increase protection and reduce costs
• Perform due diligence for insurance and risk management
• Define harmful dynamics of your product transportation environment
• Audit transit environments to assess carrier handling practices
• Capture and export both time and frequency results to replicate your transportation environment instead of relying on standards set by others
Features:
• Sophisticated measurement and analysis including drop height, vibration and shock, temperature, humidity, shock response spectrum, and vibration PSD.
• Easy-to-use Windows™ compatible software
• Portability—SAVER™ is truly portable with a built-in battery, 2.2 pound weight, and 39 cubic inch size
• Resolution—SAVER™ digitizes waveforms with 12 bits giving it 16 times more resolution than an 8 bit instrument.
• Expansibility—SAVER™ may be expanded with a variety of options and additional memory. Optional expanded memory allows for 1000’s of waveforms to be stored.
