Joshua B. Gill, MSW, LISW-S, LICDC Psychiatric Counselor at The Ohio State

Joshua has experience working with

individuals, couples, groups and families.

He is trained in Cognitive Behavioral

Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy,

Schema Therapy and best practices. He

has supervisory experience with graduate

students and is committed to quality

improvement and program development.

Overview

Schema therapy can be for use with

personality disorders and other pervasive,

refractory mood disorders. It has proven

to be effective with chronic mood

disorders, addiction and personality

disorders. It can be provided in individual

and group settings and can also be

integrated into partial hospitalization

programs and intensive outpatient

programs. Presentation will include

learning the definitions of schemas &

maladaptive schemas, exploring different

schema modes and the processes used in

Schema Therapy.
