    • Traffic concerns by going from 2 drop off times to 1 will have many parents arriving at one time in a small residential area

    • Desire for supervised bus transportation, common area, and before and after care cost

    • Elementary concerned their school grade will suffer

    • Elementary parents and staff feel they are taking all the risk

    • Committee 16:3 in favor • Concerned existing

    teachers will not have jobs

    • Olsen Middle School staff believe another choice opportunity in the area will further decrease their enrollment impacting the magnet program

    • Parents want the choice to either attend Hollywood Central Elementary or Olsen Middle

    • Some Hollywood Central Elementary staff may apply to teach at other schools

    • Many parents from the impacted area feel a public K8 school is an opportunity for this area
