THE FRONT PAGEThe front cover has to include the

name of the magazine, that may be the name of the school or other name. It has to be in shiny colours because it represents the brand of the magazine.

The main image has to be catching, and at the same time, it will represent the school so it has to be as good as possible, idealizing the school’s students and following always the ideals and values of the school.

There are some straplines with the contents of the magazine. They use white, red and yellow, that contrast which the dark areas of the background picture, and you can read them easily. The contents are directed to students of the school. They talk about things that may be interesting for the students like: abroad trips, school news…

THE CONTENTS PAGEIt has the contents of the magazine.

Unlike other types of magazine (like for example the music magazine) it do not try to highlight some articles or contents in the magazine attaching them big pictures or other colours or fonts. In this contents page, we can see the contents ordered. They have next to them the page where you can find it.

There is a column with a little text from the editor of the magazine. It has the signature, the photo and the name of it, so, in contrast with other published magazines, we can know who wrote the editorial.

The background is simple. It has a simple pattern following the green style of the page. The contents are in white contrasting with the dark green of the background.

FRONT PAGEThe front page is simple. It has a blue

patterned background and white letters. The font is not usual, and gives it a fun touch.

There is not a main image. We can see that there is a composition of four pictures that introduce us the things that you can do in years twelve and thirteen in that school. The images are obviously idealized.

There is not contents in the front page which makes the images do the role of straplines that say the subjects that you can choose in that school. This subjects may be the most representative of the school.

In the right bottom corner we can see the name of the school. The fact that the name is not very striking may be a problem because it is the most important element of the cover.

The audience of this magazine is students from year eleven that are about to start 6th form. The magazine shows the subjects that they can choose.

THE CONTENTS PAGE

The contents page is simple and with no image on it. The background is blue and it has an irregular shape in purple to emphasize the contents.

There is a quote of the man who gave the name to the school –Rudolf Steiner- “The new generation should not simply be made to become what present society wants it to be” . This is written in the middle of the page to call your attention. This quote makes the students think of the possibilities that they have thinking about the future, and , at the same time, makes them feel the positivity that they may feel if they choose that school.
