students).
PROS & CONS
PROS
1. Has working computers.
2. Limited internet
accessibility.
3. All but 1 computers have
Office 2007.
4. Most students are into the
latest gadgets in technology.
CONS
1. Computers are not really
used in class at all.
2. Only has wireless internet,
so the regular computers
aren’t any good.
3. No projector, (TV takes its
place).
4. Students use their gadgets
for distractions and
disinterest in the class .
CONTINUATION…
The problem I found is that this in one of the few classrooms that have multiple working computers.
Other classrooms only have 1, and the teacher don’t even use them.
The library was CLOSED. The school has signs of improvement, since the
classroom I visited has a number of technology tools, but they must assist in other classrooms, and maintain the library open, and maybe offer an Elective technology course.
FINALE
The DE of Puerto Rico should consider
moving their ties with the Feds, since they have
a significant amount of money and knowledge to
help our public school system, and teach
students about technology at an early age. And
of course, receiving help from the Feds will
improve the faculty’s pay check .
