Dear Parents/Guardians

Class 1 thoroughly enjoyed a trip to Netherhall this week to take part in a ‘Multi-Skills Sports Festival’. They took part in lots of fun running, jumping and throwing events and had a really good time. It is very clear that the work they do with Andy in school each week has helped to develop their skills in this area as they were all very confident and competent when it came to each event. The games were led by Year 7 pupils from Netherhall who were brilliant and really engaged the children. The iPad fund received a huge boost this week. We were notified that we have been granted £1500 towards the project by the local council. Cllr Carni McCarron-Holmes was influential in landing us the funding so we are very grateful to her. We are hoping to place the iPad order following the All Saints choir concert and we should receive them shortly after the new year. If you’re going to the Metro Centre on the PTA-organised shopping trip tomorrow, then have a great time and thanks for supporting the event.

Tickets are available for the All Saints Rock Choir event (12th Dec) and they’re also available for the Christmas production (The Magical Jigsaw, 7th Dec). Tickets for the choir are £5 and the production is £3 per ticket. Please see Paula in the office for event tickets. Remember that the events are open to friends and family too, the more the merrier.

Don’t forget that the community centre is holding their Christmas Fair tomorrow. There will be stalls, raffle, refreshments and a visit from Santa. The event runs from 11am - 4pm and Santa will be there from 1 - 3pm. 50p entrance fee. Everybody welcome.
