Experience:Experience:For over twenty years, Schorn Construction Company has been engaged in a wide variety of projects. These projects have ranged in costs from a thousand dollars to over $5 million. The diversity of these projects are wide ranging and include restaurant construction, convenience store development, car dealerships, community club houses, residential additions and custom homes, office renovation, retail fit-outs, data centers, underground tank removal, ADA compliant projects, high school stadium press box, shopping centers, banks, industrial building improvements, facility demolition, MRI facility, and medical offices.

We have performed projects for both the public and private sector. Our clients include the following in the public sector; municipal authorities, school districts, Department of the Navy, United Postal Service, and fire companies. In the private sector our repeat clients include; Wawa Inc, Pepsi Bottling Company, Ignite Restaurant Group, Longwood Gardens, Scott Honda, Commerce Bank, Home Properties, Inc., and RJP Consulting.

Our firm has an experienced and tested team of managers, craftsman, laborers, and subcontractors. Over the past three decades we have molded this team, acquired a very comprehensive inventory of equipment at our disposal.

Meet our team:Meet our team:Joseph Schorn, P.E., Vice President

Joe will lead the team from design, estimating, scheduling, and permit retrieval to start of construction. Joe brings an extensive background in design and construction management. He is a graduate of both West Chester University and Penn State University with a Bachelors degree from each institution. Joe is also a registered Professional Engineer within the state of Pennsylvania. Joe has been a member, and past president, of the West Goshen Optimist Club for 18 years and serves on the Board of Trustees for the First Presbyterian Church of West Chester.Francis Schorn, Jr., President

Fran will lead the team once construction begins. Fran brings 40 years of field experience and is an expert in problem solving. His innovative techniques have kept many projects on schedule. Fran also manages our quality control program.Clayre Schorn, Office Accountant

CURRENT PROJECTS:Apex Physical Therapy – Lionville, PATenant fit-out BOY Manufacturing, Inc. – Exton, PAInterior renovation Brick House Tap & Tavern – Willow Grove, PADesign build an extra walk-up bar area to be completed during off hours. This project entails structural modifications, as well as a concrete bartop.PJ Whelihan’s – Downingtown, NJThis project consisted of: completing the interior dining room, restroom fit-out, construction of a new stage, and raised dining areas. Extensive cosmetic improvements were done to the exterior of the building as well. We have just completed a new storage and trash enclosure expansion at this location, and we are currently building an outdoor seating area which was designed by Schorn Construction.PJ Whelihan’s – Bethlehem, PAThis project consists of: installing a new bar, raised dining areas, extensive audio-visual improvements, complete bathroom renovations and a new walk-in cooler.Tolsdorf Oil Lube Express – Exton, PAThe project required the demolition of a car wash facility, construction of new oil / lube facility while the existing oil / lube remained open for business. This project was completed on October 15th and during the week of October 18th, business was converted from the existing building to the new. Immediately following this conversion, work began on the new PNC Bank site.
