Dr. Schweiger is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Management at the
University of South Carolina where he teaches courses on strategic and
international management, and mergers and acquisitions. He is also actively
involved in executive development programs for Emory University, Irish
Management Institute, and Duke University Corporate Education. He was
recently named by the Journal of Management as among the top scholars who
have had the greatest impact on the field of management during the last quarter
century. His research has been widely published in scientific and professional
journals and he has also published two books ,Strategic Management Skills
(Addison Wesley) and M&A Integration: A Framework for Executives and
Managers (McGraw-Hill). For 25 years he has helped executives and
managers of public and private U.S. and international companies in a variety of
industries create profitable organizations.
