BIRTHDAYS
BIRTHDAYS is an independent bar and venue located on Dalston’s main strip, about five minutes walk from Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland tube stations. It’s housed in the lower levels of a faceless residential block which we’ve transformed into a two-floor fun factory with a massive sound system, a stage, pretty lights, and all the other stuff you’d expect to find at a music venue, in the basement, as well as a bar with cocktails and food by Rita’s Bar & Dining on the ground floor. Entry to the bar is always free, but most of the time you’ll need to pay to get into the basement. We’ll try our best to keep it cheap.

Tube : King’ s cross
With a name like that, it’s no wonder why this place is a hub of entertainment in the center of King’s Cross. The dream was to create a space with café/nighttime laughs, the ‘Drink’, buying stuff, the ‘Shop’ and craft workshops, the ‘Do’. Come there and enjoy a cup of flat white with a slice of victoria sponge while playing scrabble.

Café Columbia
Family run and now into its third decade of serving bagels, only on Sundays, this place is a Columbia Road institution. Take your pick from the plethora of freshly filled bagels, including old favourites smoked salmon & cream cheese, super filled breakfast or crayfish tails with cream cheese & rocket, and then retreat to eat in our courtyard out back!
Sunday 5.30am to 3pm
Suck and Chew
Suck & Chew peddles every conceivable sweet you can remember, and some you don’t, while their delightfully named Vintage Tat range of pocket money treats brings out the inner kid in everyone. And, if you can’t find what loved as a kid, just ask, from Coltsfoot rock to a stuffed dog on wheels:
