Letter from the President

Dear Scott County Agricultural Society Member,

The Board of Directors, Norm Pint, the Fair manager, and his staff are pleased to invite you to the 2015 Scott County Fair. As I draft this letter, the Fair is only 7 weeks away, and we’ve been planning/prepping since last August on how to make a bigger and better Scott County Fair.

We have added some new venues and have kept some of the old and improved; like last year’s popular Miracle of Birth Center will be back bigger and better for all to see. We were given the opportunity to improve our carnival, so we have made the investment in Gold Star Amusement as our new carnival for 2015, along with our very own restored carousel to join Big Eli on the hill for all of our guests to enjoy. The entertainment committee has put a great line up of bands all five days of the Fair, and we will be having a Blue Grass Festival on Sunday as well. Please see the Top 10 Reasons to attend the Fair, as well as our new and improved web site for all the details of this year’s Fair. We have also invested in some much needed repairs to the infrastructure in order to make your visit a great one.

For those of you who can’t get enough of the Fair, like us on the Board, we have many needs for volunteers and even some paid positions. Please consider spending some of your time helping out at the Fair. See web site for more information on those options.
