“Where Were We, Where Are We & Where Are We Going?”
Holly was instrumental in the development of the ADS and running competitions, and taught us many years ago how to run a Driving Trial. She has been involved with the sport since 1974, organized Myopia CDE from 1975-2000, and Waldingfield HDT from 1988-present. FEI licensed Judge, retired FEI TD and Course Designer; USEF and ADS licensed Judge and TD. International experience: USET Chef d'Equipe 1980-1990; member of FEI Driving Committee, Chairman of USET Driving Committee ADS Board member for 29 years. Combined driving committee, education committee; Currently USEF Driving Committee, USEF Licensed Officials Committee. Holly has many thoughts, ideas and opinions and we got her to agree to speak by giving her carte blanche.

Maryalice was our judge last summer at the Saratoga Classic. She runs a foxhunting livery and carriage training yard in Virginia for the last 20 some years. She trained in Austria and has a lot to say about the international experience. Jeff Morse was her first boss and she started with Morgans and has now moved on to Cleveland Bays. She is President of the Piedmont Driving Club and a "R" Pleasure driving and Coaching Judge.

Navigating and the Happy Horse
Scott, US Singles Driving Champion, is a well known member of our club and competed in Poland this summer as a Navigator for Leslie Berndl from California. Scott was the first person to agree to speak at our conference five years ago, and we are delighted to bring him back again. He gives a great presentation on building a working relationship with your horse and your navigator.

Driving and Dentistry The Effect of Dentistry on the Driving Horse
Jeff is currently the Chairman of the American Driving Society Pleasure Driving Committee and a member of the USEF Morgan and Carriage Pleasure Committees.
He is the westernmost horse owner in Massachusetts in Richmond, MA, where he has bred, owned and trained horses for over 35 years. His stable is right next door to the Berkshire Equestrian Center, home of the Saratoga Classic Show on Aug 1 & 2, 2009.
