Designing project-adapted products with individual solutions is an everyday work for us. Each project and its component parts is unique. Products are adapted to our customers’ requirements and meet all current international standards. Purchasersreceive a complete range of documentation, such as drawings, operation and maintenance instructions, and as built documents. We have wide experienceof export deliveries involving documentation in other languages.

Quality is important to us, from the smallest components to full user-friendly function. With a documented quality and environmental system, SEBAB and its factories are very strong today.

All of our manufacturers are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Service with resourcesOur extensive OEM store offers great advantages to our customers. There are always products in stock for rapid delivery. Being able to supply spares within 12 to 48 hours is a service to our customers value.

We carry out servicing on our products and systems through our head office in Malmö and our sales and service offices in the western, eastern, and northern regions. The service group is made up of authorised service technicians with competence and wide experience.

ContractingSUNDSVALL HOSPITAL– REPLACEMENT OF IN-HOUSE SUBSTATIONS A, B, C, D

We have for many years worked with local power part-ners and worked with Kraftteknik on this project for

the hospital. Various solutions and product alternatives were presented for this renovation project while it was in service, which placed great demands on functionality and flexibility. Together we were awarded the final project con-tract, and have already delivered three of the substations containing ORMAZABAL AMC Primary Switchgear of 4x12 cubicles with ceramic arcventilator which replaces the pres-sure channel, ELCOVER MCC Switchgear with removable groups more than 200 cubicles and ELCOVER Control and DC Cabinet project applied with some existing equipment.

We have had the advantage of having worked on several interesting project deliveries with the client and Kraftteknik.

UtilityESKILSTUNA UTILITY– CITY UPGRADE

We were given a commission by Eskilstuna Utility to supply a complete primary substation in con-

crete in central Eskilstuna over a short time-span with an architect-designed substation to obtain building permit. The substation is actually three separate substations with the possibility of sectioning between various 12 kV cubic-les and transformers for higher accessibility. The substa-tion contains ORMAZABAL EA Primary Switchgear of 10 cubicles ceramic arcventilatior to replace pressure chan-nels, Oil Insulated Transformers 3x1600kVA, ELCOVER 2500A LV Switchgear with ACB breakers to handle 80kA short-circuits, type-tested, and project-adapted ELCOVER Control and DC Cabinet. The substation was completed in very short time and was taken into service jointly by us.

Over the years, we have also had various frame agree-ments with utility companies such as Fortum, as well as current frame agree-ment with Eon and others for ORMAZABAL Switchgear.

Wind PowerHAVSNÄS WIND POWER PARK, STRÖMSUND

HAVSNÄS is Sweden’s largest land-based wind power park with 48 wind

turbines supported via its own LIGHTSITE In-door substation supplied by SEBAB with ORMAZABAL CGM 36kV Secondary Switchgear containing fibre communi-cation for SCADA monitoring and kWh measurement to a centralised system. With our partners we have developed this concept and supplied the project on time and with due acknowledgement from our client, RES- Nordisk Vindkraft

BLEIKEVARE WIND POWER PARK, DOROTEA

We have already taken part in this project with ideas for electricity

distribution solutions when the wind power company O2 planned this project for 18 wind turbines. Together with Eltel Networks, we had the best solution and were awarded a contract for cable fibre laying with ground work, MODCON In-door substation with ORMAZABAL CPG 36kV Primary Switchgear for distribution to a LIGHTSITE In-door substation with ORMAZABAL CGM 36kV Secondary Switchgear, construction, in-house testing, commissioning, and final training.

Infra PowerARLANDA AND STURUP

We participated with supplies to LFV when they decided to upgrade their flight-monitoring area

in northern Europe by building new ATCC monitoring stations at Arlanda and Sturup airports with highaccessibility.

Together with LFV’s consultants and their own engineers, we carried out final design for their backup installations for possible power outages. Our measu-res consisted of supplying UPS Systems with Batteryand LV- Distribution and Backup Power systems with automatic cabinet and SCADA communication.

When the installations were complete and taken into service, we were also awarded a contract for backup power delivery with LV-Distribution for building into the existing power and monitoring system at Arlanda and Sturup airports.

COPENHAGEN METRO

In connection with this large Metro project with fully automatic metro trains carried out by the Ansaldo Group,

several of our manufacturers system was supplied such as TESAR, Rectifiers and Distribution Transformers, EMC, DC Switchgear and Rectifiers and COET, DC Isolators and later awarded the same system in phase two.

MORA RECTIFIER SUBSTATION, TRAFIKVERKET

Due to an over aged station the Mora rectifier sta-tion is being reconstructed by SEBAB and ELTEL

for the Swedish rail.

The station was first commissioned in the beginning of the 1970s and when the railway system known as “Siljansbanan” was put into function. The reconstruc-tion reasons are old age, continuous development and safety reasons.

OEMSEBAB markets a wide range of Low-Voltage

Products such as enclosure systems, complete residence control centres, as well as MCB, RCCB, load- and fuse breaker switches in various types, Dia-zed systems, instruments, connection parts, and com-ponents. With an extensive store and large storage space of EUR 3-400.000 in our head office in Malmö, we can satisfy our partners with attractive price levels and rapid deliveries which is almost unique today in Scandinavia, where many manufacturers only have stores in Europe.

We work on our own developments in close collabora-tion with our factories and partners who produce our enclosure systems and other components for project-adapted deliveries. We come in with market support, technical competence, and wide project experience and presence at several of Scandinavia’s exhibitions.

With some of our partners such as SIEMENS, we have developed project collaboration in which we are a ‘po-wer solution partner’ and store their ACB, MCCB, and motor control systems in selected parts. This collabo-ration has been further developed for our monitoring control system SEBvision.

ExportFrom the outset, SEBAB took part in export-

related projects, and has for a long time supplied more than EUR 20 million to ABB via our contacts as a ‘second supplier’ for various distribution and industrial projects throughout the world. Other Scandinavian customers during the years were Alstom, Are, Areva, Comsys, Eltel Networks, Midroc, Ikea Ims, Jaco, Vestas, YIT and others.

One of our more interesting projects for supplying Power Distribution in Africa was to EDM, Mozambique, for ABB Distribution. Our delivery included ORMAZABAL CGM 36kV Primary Switchgear, COTRADIS Distribution Transformers, SEBAB Transformer substations in sheet steel with ORMAZABAL 36 and 12kV Secondary Switchgear with Transformer, and MECHA-FLEX LV-Switchgear in various ver-sions. Our service organisation also assisted ABB with several commissioning operations and inspections at the client’s premises.

TEMAN, GASPLANT, MOZAMBIQUE

Together with our local partner TECNEL have we supplied in several phases the Electrical Substa-

tion 33kV in a ready made technical house in our workshop in Sweden to shorten the delivery time and local control work. Including Ormazabal CGM MVS 33kV and DC-AC Control system and Power Trans-former 3,5MVA 33/11kV.

Design and engineering together with the local supervision and relay setting and control at site with the client and TECNEL staff.

SEBvision – Modern communications and monitoring

SEBvision is a basic, module-based and inex-pensive communications system for electrical

power and distribution installations.

The system is made up of industrial automa-tion products from Siemens with communication solutions such as Profibus-DP and Profinet which are currently recognised industry standards for communication. We supply an open interface for flexible and easy connection to a number of instru-ments currently on the market.

SEBvision is built in standard modules, from relati-vely basic systems such as alarm handling to com-plex systems with control functions, data logging, and safety applications. The system has built-in functions for remote monitoring / remote control via Internet and the GSM/GPRS network.

Our partner for instruments and communication in the SEBvision concept is SIEMENS.
