Driving styleIt is one of the few drivers to have won world championship titles on all types of surface: asphalt (28), earth (33), snow-covered land (2) and mixed earth / asphalt (5). He holds the record of 23 wins for various rallies. He is renowned for the safety of his flight: since his accession in the World Championships, he averaged less than one drop per year of driving error.
From the start, Sebastien Loeb has defined his maximum turning speed on bends in function of the angle, & he changes speed depending on the micro-local circumstances. This method is very scientific in its approach & it could have given him an advantage in terms of maximum speed.
