NOTICEAccumulated grease and oil on amachine is a fire haz-ard. Remove this debris with steam cleaning or highpressure water, at least every 1000 hours or each timeany significant quantity of oil is spilled on a machine.

A thorough, regular visual inspection of the machineis necessary to maintain machine performance, availability, and safety. Make the inspection at thebeginning of every shift or make the inspection afterevery 10 hours.

Methodically inspect all exposed, easily accessibleareas of the machine for the following items: loosefasteners, missing parts, damaged parts, crackedparts, broken parts, worn parts, debris buildup, oilleaks, coolant leaks, and fuel leaks.

Initiate corrective action for the following problems:fluid leaks, damaged parts, excessively wornparts, loose fasteners, and missing parts. Removeaccumulated trash, dirt, grease, or oil from the tractor.

Perform the following procedures on a daily basis.

• Operation and Maintenance Manual, “BackupAlarm - Test”

• Operation and Maintenance Manual, “BrakingSystem - Test”

• Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Cab Filter(Fresh Air) - Clean/Inspect/Replace”

• Operation and Maintenance Manual, “CoolingSystem Coolant Level - Check”

• Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Engine OilLevel - Check”
